Piccolo Restaurant of Huntington Ratings and Reviews
Date night for my wife and I and we were not disappointed. I started with the roasted figs with goat cheese and prosciutto and it was fantastic. Also came with a large slice of melon with prosciutto on the side. I had the Panko crusted tuna and she had the short rib cannelloni. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. For dessert she had a lava cake with pumpkin gelato and I had a banana croissant bread pudding and they were unbelievable. She had wanted the Creme Brûlée but unfortunately they had sold out. I definitely recommend this place.
My favorite restaurant for fresh entrees, salads, appetizers and soups. Welcoming staff that makes every visit a reason to celebrate a special occasion or any night. Great wines to complement your meals. Jason, George and all the staff are the best
Service was excellent:) Wait Staff was top notch! food was ok... I felt it could of been better the food . Prices were on the high side so I felt food should of been high on taste, fell short:( I Don't think I would go back
Food is always good but they wouldn't honor a gift certificate because it was old (even though there is no expiration date). Also the host (some one told me he was the owner) decided to come to my table to let me know they wouldn't honor it right in front of a couple who was sitting next to us and we were talking to. He could have simply asked me to speak at the bar instead of making a scene. Also instead of just saying no he could have offered something. The food is good but there are many places with good food so owners need to hold onto customers anyway they can. Unfortunately this one did not feel it was necessary.
Piccolos Six stars experience
Warm courest staff is attentive to you from the moment you walk in to this Italian restaurant. You feel as if you walking into Italys finest dinning experience like no other place. Fresh warm bread serviced on a fine white cloth table, while you receive the highest level of service attentive to your every need from never having your wine or water glass never empty to enjoying George's beautiful explanation of each special on the menu. All making you feel like they tailored it just for your desires and needs. Every bite of food taste fresher then the next and full of flavor as if your grandmother prepared it with love using her grandmother secret recipes. Wonderful experience that today's chain restaurant should take notes on how to treat customers that you care enough about and actually want you coming back again. Fair pricing for what you receive every penny's worth in quality of the food and butler level service. Try the pork Sorrentino you will love every bit!!
I'm sad. Use to be my favorite but it's slipping in service and food quality. This was a special occasion and there was just so many misses one after another.
Beautiful little place.. hopefully they turn it around but I'm going to be giving it a breather for awhile. I am a 5x a year Patron with my family. Easter and then this birthday had just gone further south.
