A Sicilian by way of Chicago, from a family of Sicilian chefs and restaurateurs. He made a name for himself, serving Orange County for 30 years. Piccolino serves some of the best Italian inspirations in Orange County. Piccolino retains its Sicilian philosophy and passion for food by combining traditional old-world flavors and contemporary infusions. When Salvatore Faso opened Piccolino Ristorante in 2007, his goal was simple: to combine his lifelong experiences in the finest Italian restaurants with the finest ingredients, authenticity, preparation, and his passion for the Canyon and its surrounding communities. Piccolino Ristorante serves regional Italian cuisine, including artisan-made pasta, fresh wild-caught fish, and the finest meats and poultry on the market daily. Vintage décor, white tablecloths, and candlelit tables provide a romantic dining experience.

The best grilled salmon I have ever tasted. My husband had pizza and ate the whole thing! Service attentive and friendly. Many choices in food and beverages

Celebrated 3 birthdays, food and service were excellent. First time dining experience for daughter and son in law, they are now fans and loved their entrees. Great evening.

The service, right off the bat, was so friendly, so inviting. I believe he may have been the owner, very gracious, felt like we’d been going there for ages. And then our server Shelby was great, she was patient, very knowledgeable about the menu, polite, and very helpful. The bread and the aioli was delicious. Our soups and Cesar salads were okay, the soup a little heavy in the cheese for my taste and the salad a little heavy on dressing. All our entrees were delicious, while I do suggest more flavoring and filling in the filet ravioli. We will be going back with our extended family.

Amazing dinner!! Our 1st visit to this restaurant and everything was spectacular!! The calamari appetizer was hands down the BEST calamari we’ve ever had in any restaurant ever!! Everything was so delicious! Will be back again for sure.

We love this restaurant!!! The food and selections are so yummy!!! I had ciopinno and it came with a lobster tail on top!!! It was delicious….. we brought friends for their first time and they will definitely be back…. If you have not been here so yourself the favor and try it out…. You will not be disappointed.
