Cloak & Petal is a gem! The ambiance is stunning, think cherry blossom vibes with modern décor. I had the salmon and shrimp sushi, and we shared the gyoza. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The vegan noodles were also a standout! Great service, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere. Recommend!

I was visiting San Diego this weekend and my daughter and I felt like sushi. I checked out the Best of San Diego magazine’s restaurant nominees for Sushi and saw Azuki Sushi Lounge at the top of the list. We were able to secure a reservation for 5:30, one of the few remaining, and outside. Fortunately they had gas heaters to make it comfortable because it was cool and breezy. We started with the Buta and Nira steamed dumplings and then ordered the Kobe, Super Dragon and the Blue Crab California roll. My daughter really enjoyed her Dragon roll, but I think the real star was the Kobe. Absolutely stellar. Highly recommend. Service was average. I would absolutely return for the Kobe alone.
