Best Global Restaurants in Northeast

My Cherie Amour, lovely as a summer day recommended we try MarcusDc so I made reservations expeditiously. It was yet another reason why I trust her discernment because the experience was great. We wanted to try the crab rice but due to our late reservation, they had sold out so we had the black bass instead which was delicious. The Swedish gummy they gave us at the end was almost as sweet as the time we shared at MarcusDC. Thank you all so much. We will definitely be back.

This is our seventh time here, and the quality since it opened has never dropped. Our favorite restaurant, with an innovative menu that delights and surprises us every time we visit. Our party of four tried three different drinks, including two from the seasonal menu and one old favorite; we were unable to choose which were the best, because they all rated "oooh, next time I'll try THAT one!" status from each of us. Presentation and flavors are all pleasing. The atmosphere is always quiet enough to talk among ourselves without having to strain to listen. Keep it up, Surreal!

Our servers were nice, but we were seated for almost a half hour before we could get attention (and they weren’t especially busy). They messed up our order, but the food was good once it came out. While the front of house needs to get tightened up, there’s obviously a chef in the kitchen.

Fred & Stilla served wonderful cocktails and dishes. Presentation was elegant. The service was friendly and attentive.
