- KKerryVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoThis was my first time visiting a vegan restaurant. The food was surprisingly fresh, flavorful, and overall delicious. The wait staff was attentive. I had the dumplings, mushrooms, tea salad, and tamales for my entree. I would suggest a bigger entree portion of tamales, or plate the tamales on a quinoa salad, black beans, cabbage slaw., or cauliflower rice. Otherwise, the experience was favorable and I would come back again.More infoTwelvemonthPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Burlingame•4.5

- MMarcVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews4.0Dined on May 2, 2025Great new dining option. The interior of the restaurant has a very nice vibe, casual but still classy, The branzino dish was excellent. The only criticism was that the wine pours were the smallest I’ve ever experienced. Overall a great experience!More infoValley GoatPrice: Moderate• Californian• San Jose•4.6
- SSamanthaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 29, 2025We absolutely love Dr. Funk. The drinks are so good and the vibes are so fun. However, our last several visits we have found the service to be painfully slow. We were seated for about 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. And then it was about 30 minutes between each table visit. This has been the regular pattern regardless of the crowds or if there is an event. They need to figure out the pacing of their service because it is starting to minimize the frequency of our visits and the amount we could be spending while we are there.More infoDr. FunkPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• San Jose•4.4
