Ultimate Crab Cakes
made with all jumbo lump crab meat; served with chef's vegetables & mashed potatoes
Me and my gf were impressed. I haven’t been to Phillip’s in awhile. Enjoyed our time at the restaurant. Wondering will they bring back the buffet like back in the day.
Spectacular meal! I had the Ultimate Crab Cakes and they were melt in your mouth delicious! Best crab cake I've ever tasted. My mom had the Steak & Crab Cake platter which was also incredible and cooked to perfection. We started with Crab Rangoon which went perfectly with the sweet dipping sauce, and the Shrimp Sriracha Dip which was unique and very tasty. Loved the bread that came with it for dipping as well. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich and cheesecake, both were exquisite (although the flourless chocolate cake is my absolute fave - I had on a previous visit). Also loved my Frose drink. Our server checked in often but wasn't a bother and was quick with refills and clearing plates. The overall ambiance was very chill and a nice respite from Black Friday madness. We will definitely be back!
Reservation was very easy to make, no waiting, and the food and service was great!! Visiting Inner Harbor!
The server Dominick was the best! The food was good, but the service was amazing!!
First time at this establishment. In my opinion food was mediocre and pricey. In fairness, I have yet to find good fish and chips in an American restaurant. Server presented bill before we had finished eating and did not offer the dessert menu or after dinner drinks. Disappointed with experience.
Great seafood especially the crab cakes
Awesome service. Came from
Out of town would definitely return.
Service was terrible. Took forever to get drinks and then the waiter messed up our order. And food was not worth the money. It was disappointing. Was looking forward to some good crab cakes!
The food was really fantastic and delicious. The service was good, but apparently they were backed up in the kitchen so it took awhile for our food to arrive and our server took awhile to greet us, but after that she was great so I docked a star for service because of these two delays. Overall I enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend a stop here to anyone.
Love this place, 10/10 recommend every time. The only thing is the mussels were very fishy smelling.
We sat outside and had great food a service. Crab cakes and muscles were excellent!
Great service with food to match! Very enjoyable evening!
The Bloody Mary was plain. No celery or anything else. Gluten free options are minimal. Barramundi was on plain rice with raw bean sprouts. No flavor. Meal was nothing special
The manu was surpringly limited. No crab imperial or expected crab dishes. Probably the place to go during crab season. We were there in November 2021. The fish and chips were not a crisp as we expected. However, I have to admit that the bill was much less than I was expecting to pay.
Great food and service. Our server was very nice and good at her job.
Phillips Seafood has been a local favorite for years! This recent experience was no different - the quality service, freshness and great taste of the food, and the atmosphere were all wonderful.
Disappointing crab cakes. Beer hall atmosphere. Not a pleasant dining experience. Would not recommend Or return.
My waitress, Maura, gets 5 stars! Attentive, not intrusive and good listener. Everything came to the table as I wanted. Checked back frequently to ensure all was well and if I needed anything. She had tried numerous dishes and made several suggestions. Also recommended several items from wine list. Very informed about the history of the Phillips restaurant and how it came to be where it is today. I ordered the crab rangoon, mushroom pot stickers, shrimp & crab spring rolls, crab dip and fried seafood platter. I love bread so the crusty bread with the dip was delicious. All the other items were good. I had said I’d probably take some items home, so Maura brought containers early during my meal, which was great for me. I dined inside the restaurant and it was not noisy at all. The food was good later as a late night snack. Talking with Maura, she said she was impressed with how the company trained the employees and how they felt like they were all family. I asked where Phillips sourced their crab and she was very informative about that too. Explained that it comes from the Philippines (their crab similar to the one here) and the plant there keeps to very high standards in quality control. Keep up the great work, Maura, and Phillips Seafood Restaurant!
Very average food, with average prices.
Highlights were the staff. Both the front and our waitress went beyond to give us a good experience
The food was good. I have had better but good. The service impacted the experience as our server was not attentive and she did not own the fact that she was not attentive. She did not refill our drinks. We asked for extra sauce and she brought it after we completed the meal. As a result, I would not return to the restaurant in the future. Many other seafood restaurants in Baltimore…pass this one by.
Crab cakes were average. Asparagus was fresh, oysters were excellent as well as optional horseradish.
Food was absolutely delicious and service was great! We will return next time we visit Baltimore!
Went for my birthday towards closing. The menu had so many options the staff was very polite in person but over the phone not so much. They value for what we paid versus the quality of food received was a perfect match. And I also received a free birthday dessert. We had the crab dip and ultimate crab cakes which is a must have when dining here.
The outside patio was beautiful. The atmosphere and staff were both wonderful. The food was delicious!
Very good food and attentive service. Snow crab and shrimp delicious. Lovely comfortable booth for 4. Also NZ wine available which I love, so all in all a great place to eat and drink!
reasonable prices, smallish portion sizes, food was well prepared and prompt, service was good but she was busy, drinks were generous, crab dip was excellent, crab cakes were small but tasted very good - only a little shell (that's normal and acceptable)
Excellent food and service. Very fresh ingredients and tasty!
I was in Baltimore this past weekend for the Ravens/Chiefs game as a KC fan (boo) and had many people suggest visiting Phillips for a good taste of Baltimore seafood. While the service was quite good, the food was honestly a bit disappointing. I had the broiled seafood platter and was disappointed that my crab cake had several fragments of shell in it (not sure if that’s normal, but hasn’t been present in other crab cakes I’ve had). The shrimp was cold and asparagus was nearly raw. I wouldn’t be complaining if the food wasn’t $50. Next time, I’ll do some more research and find a different seafood joint.
I was told this is the place to go In Baltimore but it fell short of the hype.
The service by Cameron was excellent.
I enjoyed it! They had great food and excellent customer service
Appetizers were great. But the main dishes were not well seasoned And tasted a little stale or undercooked. However the waitress was kind and deserved a tip.
From appetizers to desserts, our table of 4 enjoyed enjoyed a variety of selections that were well prepared and presented. Freshness must be Phillips motto.
The service is was good. The food was great. Our group ordered the starters Chesapeake crab dip and shrimp spring rolls. The shrimp Alfredo and crab cake sandwich was excellent. The alcohol drinks are worth it the blue crab margarita, strawberry lemondade, and long island
I’m a regular patron at this Lemongrass, but something has changed. Towards the end of the meal, we were being rushed to leave. Felt very uncomfortable and
The appetizers were the best option. My main course was not good I had the crab cake sandwich. I will go back for the appetizers and crab legs. Our dessert was basic but good. Drinks were good also.
My son and I always enjoy Phillips , the food is always good and the workers are very pleasant. My only disappointment is the price has increased
How in the world can a famous Seafood Restaurant not offer any type of Lobster meal . Lobster Tails are available from a steakhouse such as Longhorn, but Lobster is not available at Phillips. The reasoning from the server was blamed on Covid. Very disappointed. McCormick and Schmicks would have been a better choice.
We were in Baltimore for a college campus visit. The Foid at Phillips was good but after the waitre
The meal was very enjoyable. The cream of Crab Soup was delicious. The service as very attentive.
food didn't taste fresh and lacked seasoning. Nothing like it used to be
