This places seems like maybe back in the day it was nice but now they’re just holding on to what they use to be. The decor is outdated and the food is ok. The prices were expensive for what you’re getting.
Food was amazing and waited Dale was excellent. Staff and service was exceptional.
20 plus years ago Phillips Seafood had amazing crab and people would wait outside to get in . I am sorry to say that they have gone the way of many other storied restaurants relying on their reputation only. We ordered drinks, crab soup, and the pound of snow crab. Soup and drinks arrived at the same time, even though we asked the waitress to hold the soup while we enjoyed out drinks. A few minutes later every thing came out at once. The soup was tepid and the rest of the food was cold. The real disappointment was the crab clusters. The legs and claws were so small that you could not get the meat out. What little meat you got out was shredded so bad that you lost it when you tried to put it in the butter. The waitress knew that we were upset, so she sent the manager out. He preceded to tell us it was all our fault and that the quality at Phillips has not changed in 50years. We paid our bill and went to the Cheesecake Factory to get something to eat.
Great family dining after visiting National Aquarium! Good menu choices (even for kids), delicious food, and wonderful customer service.
Our server was excellent. She went out of her way to help us have an enjoyable experience! Our bar service was lacking but I'm sure it was due to the need for more personnel.
Great food, very good service. More of a family friendly atmosphere than date night so depends on what you’re going for. Overall would recommend!
The food was really, really mediocre and laden with salt. Absolutely miniscule portions for some of the dishes too. For the value it was really disappointing.
La comida de verdad es excelente, la sopa de cangrejo y los Crab Cakes son los mejores
Phillips seafood House at inner harbor it's a great location beautiful views that are at harbor excellent food service everything is great
The crab cakes were wonderful as was expected but I think the room has lost a bit of ambience. I felt like I was in a Red Lobster instead of a fine seafood restaurant which how I remember it from a few years ago. Used to be on a BoneFish Grill level with regard to ambulance. But I do understand you do not eat ambience you eat food and the crabcakes were the best ever
Food was great! Service was good and the views were amazing!
A bit disappointing. Overpriced food and not that good
The food and service were good. Would definitely recommend it.
Ruslan our server was incredible, very helpful, very friendly even during dinner rush on a Holiday. And the food was amazing, well worth the price. The ultimate crab cakes are a must.
Great Food and service. Loved it and will be coming back.
I have been a customer of Phillips for over 25 years. I haven’t been there for more than 10 years. It was very disappointing to see how the place had deteriorated from its glorious day. Food was mediocre. Not worth going specially to it again.
Our server Dominique was outstanding! Made my birthday even more special
We arrived at the restaurant 25 minutes before our reservation, but we got seated immediately by the MOD. We sat down and got asked what we would like to drink, we then were handed over to a different waiter. He checked on us once but the lady who got our drinks who was serving her own tables was sooo helpful. She got us boxes and to go cups because our waiter was nowhere to be found. She found him, he brought us our checks, but didn’t do much else. Food was well seasoned, fresh and hot. Strawberry daiquiri you really couldn’t taste ANY alcohol. Over all okay experience for visiting Baltimore for the first time. Probably would try seafood somewhere else next time.
Service was good. Food was prepared well and tasted good. Enjoyable meal all around.
Great meal, great service and great ambiance. My only constructive complaint was a bigger portion of the vegetable. 4 asparagus was a little light. Make it 6-7 to compliment the rest of the meal better.
Definitely come here for the freshest crabcakes. The menu looks expensive but when those crabcakes come out you realize they are worth every penny! The ratio of crabmeat to breading/filling is insane and the lumps of crab are enormous.
Pretty good, but there are better crab cakes and oysters elsewhere. The crab deck would be a great time for happy hour though!
I think that our area was especially noisy bc we were right next to the kitchen and people were overheard arguing. Otherwise food was good and service was quick considering it was a busy Saturday. I am however still in search of meaty crab legs, alas my quest continues.
Amber our server was fantastic!
staff forgot appetizers - when noticed they were cold when brought to table
Our waitress and food were both great! The hostess left a lot to be desired but after getting past her everything else was fabulous!!!
The waitress was attentive and pleasant. The crab cake sandwich was fresh and full of lump crab meat. Delicious!
our waiter, dale, was fantastic. did a great job even with the limited menu.
food was great (crabcake) and came out quickly.
Best place to eat in the harbor.
I hadn't visited Phillips Seafood at the Baltimore Harbor for over 7 years and since they had moved into their current location. I thought it would be a great revisit to celebrate my husband on Father's Day. They DID NOT disappoint!
Although, the menu had been modified for the pandemic, the quality, taste, and temperature of the food were fantastic. And, the level of service was top-notch! Our server (on our receipt, her name reads Zaynab G), she was EXCELLENT! She was so attentive, friendly and nice that we spoke to her manager, Jason about how great she was.
I would highly recommend this location and anxious to return!
Our server Dominic or Dominique, I am not sure of the spelling, was amazing! She was attentive, courteous, and welcoming. My husband's food was delicious. I order a fish sandwich, a very simple selection. I asked could I substitute a salad for the fries. I found out I could not. There was no option to order the salad with an upcharge, which I found odd. When my meal arrived, I was not pleased with the look of the sandwich. I asked if I could have my fish fried in the Phillips Amber Ale beer-battered, instead of whatever it had been fried in. My conscientious asked the manager if that was possible. I was told no. I was never offered the option to order a different meal. I understood that it was Father's Day and the restaurant was busy but this was my first experience at Phillip's Baltimore location. I left the restaurant hungry. My husband's Father's Day dinner was ruined because his wife didn't have a meal. The manager took the sandwich off the bill. I left the restaurant hungry, dissatisfied, and angry. I can not in good faith recommend this location.
I went there before and had a whole lobster, so I took my son for Father's day and they did not offer lobster of any kind. Was very disappointed.
My food and my daughter’s was very good. However, my husband’s fish sandwich was cold!! And They did not offer anything beyond an apology. We won’t go back.
Shrimp bucket was phenomenal! Fries were some of the best I’ve had. Dessert was on point. STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRIS YUMMY
The waiter was super friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and service was speedy. Enjoyed the whole experience
Overall it was good. A little overpriced but stills enjoyed my time
We were looking for a place to eat with great quality food, service and atmosphere and we found it at Phillips Seafood!! Keep up the great work. Erik was a top notch server who is a great asset to the Phillip's Seafood team!!
It was a great experience , the service was wonderful
Loved the crab cakes!
The best experience ever!! I was at the bar today, I cant remember the bartenders name but they made me and my husband experience awesome!! And to the young lady bartender remember you got this!!!
Food tasted fine, but were well into our meal (steamed snow crab bucket) before crab eating utensils were brought to the table.
Drinks were slow.
Minimal follow up from waitress.
