our waiter, dale, was fantastic. did a great job even with the limited menu.
food was great (crabcake) and came out quickly.
Best place to eat in the harbor.
I hadn't visited Phillips Seafood at the Baltimore Harbor for over 7 years and since they had moved into their current location. I thought it would be a great revisit to celebrate my husband on Father's Day. They DID NOT disappoint!
Although, the menu had been modified for the pandemic, the quality, taste, and temperature of the food were fantastic. And, the level of service was top-notch! Our server (on our receipt, her name reads Zaynab G), she was EXCELLENT! She was so attentive, friendly and nice that we spoke to her manager, Jason about how great she was.
I would highly recommend this location and anxious to return!
Our server Dominic or Dominique, I am not sure of the spelling, was amazing! She was attentive, courteous, and welcoming. My husband's food was delicious. I order a fish sandwich, a very simple selection. I asked could I substitute a salad for the fries. I found out I could not. There was no option to order the salad with an upcharge, which I found odd. When my meal arrived, I was not pleased with the look of the sandwich. I asked if I could have my fish fried in the Phillips Amber Ale beer-battered, instead of whatever it had been fried in. My conscientious asked the manager if that was possible. I was told no. I was never offered the option to order a different meal. I understood that it was Father's Day and the restaurant was busy but this was my first experience at Phillip's Baltimore location. I left the restaurant hungry. My husband's Father's Day dinner was ruined because his wife didn't have a meal. The manager took the sandwich off the bill. I left the restaurant hungry, dissatisfied, and angry. I can not in good faith recommend this location.
I went there before and had a whole lobster, so I took my son for Father's day and they did not offer lobster of any kind. Was very disappointed.
My food and my daughter’s was very good. However, my husband’s fish sandwich was cold!! And They did not offer anything beyond an apology. We won’t go back.
Shrimp bucket was phenomenal! Fries were some of the best I’ve had. Dessert was on point. STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRIS YUMMY
The waiter was super friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and service was speedy. Enjoyed the whole experience
Overall it was good. A little overpriced but stills enjoyed my time
We were looking for a place to eat with great quality food, service and atmosphere and we found it at Phillips Seafood!! Keep up the great work. Erik was a top notch server who is a great asset to the Phillip's Seafood team!!
It was a great experience , the service was wonderful
Loved the crab cakes!
The best experience ever!! I was at the bar today, I cant remember the bartenders name but they made me and my husband experience awesome!! And to the young lady bartender remember you got this!!!
Food tasted fine, but were well into our meal (steamed snow crab bucket) before crab eating utensils were brought to the table.
Drinks were slow.
Minimal follow up from waitress.
Haven't been there in 30 years still as great as I remembered
Excellent service and great food! Can't wait to go back!
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It was a great experience.
Waitress was great. Food was great I’m just writing this to meet 50 characters
Great service and very friendly staff. Food was excellent and served in a timely manner. Would definitely return!
Order the crab cakes. Best in the area. Almost no fillers.
Excellent service and great food! Our server was helpful meeting all of our dining needs
Paris the waitress was great. Professional, respectful and came by frequently to check on us. Food came quickly. All staff members were friendly! Great location.
The service was excellent! Our waiter was personable and was very knowledgeable regarding menu selections. We ordered all if his recommendations and I'm glad we did, our meal was delicious. Unfortunately, my husband and I thought the crab dip was too cheesy and lacked flavor, however, our second appetizer, the fried calamari compensated for what was missing in the dip. The white mango sangria was the perfect drink to compliment our broiled seafood trio. Overall, our meal and the service we received was remarkable! My husband proposed at Phillips Seafood and we returned to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
Crabs cakes were awful and got sick from the food the next day
The steamed shrimp and crab was delicious and my server Dominique was fantastic
amazing food with great hospitality. Definitely going to visit again
Great food and great service. I just relocated to Baltimore and i will dine here often!
Was expecting more selection of seafood. In my past experience I remember more options of fish, crab and other shellfish dinners. Was more like glorified Long John Silvers.
Crab cakes were delicious!! Our server was great! He was efficient, helpful and very friendly. Made our experience enjoyable!
It was decent. Limited Menu. I expected more but it wasn't bad.
We had a reservation, but our table was not ready. I ordered a cup of the clam crowder. It was bland and served lukewarm. For my entree, I had the farmhouse salad with a crab cake. The salad was very good, but the crab cake was also lukewarm. My spouse ordered the crab cake dinner. Again, the crab cakes were served lukewarm. This was served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Potatoes were bland and served lukewarm. I prefer hot foods to be served hot. They missed this all night long. As I told the server, I ate it, I’ll pay for it, but I won’t do that again.
The atmosphere was really nice & the waiter was very attentive & friendly. The food wasn’t all that but the drinks definitely were good. I appreciate that they have a large menu with a good selection of things to choose from.
The food was outstanding. Service was less than enjoyable. We were rushed the entire time. We were enjoying our appetizer and the main meal was brought out before we were even halfway done. The appetizer was cleared before we could tell them to leave it. From start to finish, we were sat, had soup, appetizer and dinner in less than an hour. Not at all e relaxing way to enjoy dinner while on vacation.
Great food. Great coffee. Reservations are most likely how you will be seated right away.
Very limited menu- Horrible service- Got order wrong. Used to be an awesome place but sadly is a shell of its former self.
Phillips in Baltimore, Maryland is a great way to spend an afternoon in the spring. It had been a while since I have been to Baltimore. We decided to go to celebrate a friend's birthday. I made a reservation at Phillips and requested outdoor sitting. Phillips agreed to my request when we arrived. The waitress was really nice and went out of her way to made sure we had everything we needed. The food was very tasty. I had the crab cakes and ordered a salad. I highly recommend going to Phillips when in Baltimore.
Great service. Crab cake sandwich was yummy. Hope to be in the area again.
We had eaten at Phillips before. Their food is always great. On this occasion, we had a very pleasent wait person. That made our experience that much better
I was highly disappointed. I visited Phillips in Ocean City,MD and in Atlantic City a few years ago and I loved the food. So why not try Baltimore Harbor.... complete upset... $50 for a seafood bucket which was dry. I had the broil trio and there was a hair in my food. Drinks were watered down. Needless to say I will never go back. The menu is not the same. The server Greyson was amazing and supportive along with the Mgr on shift.
