Our server, Noel, was excellent. Food and wine matched the service. We were there for a special event (anniversary) and we felt celebrated.
Our service from Kevin was superb and our dinner was as well.
Very nice experience. Went for birthday. Service was excellent. Daily specials that were recommended were outstanding.
Anniversary
We live out of town so had not dined at Paterson's for several years. It was as elegant and delicious as we remembered. From the greeting to our seating, and serving it was all done in a warm and welcoming way. Our meal and service was outstanding
Best steak we have EVER had. Recommend to anyone planning a special event or moment.
Great place to enjoy a work dinner with clients. It can get a little loud and the tables seem to be very close together. Food is outstanding and I had the best caprese salad I have ever had !
The combination of the atmosphere, service and food are difficult to beat. I would stack Peterson's up against the best steakhouses in the country.
It was our 48th Wedding Anniversary. We started out with cocktails, followed by otters, delicately fried and placed in the shell. There were 6 and incredibly delicious. I had a very crispy Caesar salad and my husband enjoyed a fresh beet salad with a Vinaigrette dressing, which he said was very good. My main course was Fruts Del Mar, served on a small amount of linguini. The sea food included shrimp, mussels and fish.
My husband had swordfish and it was a lovely, piece of fish. Neither of us felt like steak and we’re very pleased with our choices. The service was wonderful and our server very thoughtful and pleasant. She brought us a piece of cheesecake for our Anniversary and it too was excellent!
Always a great meal and service. I travel to Indy about every 6-8 weeks and never miss the opportunity to dine hear. Have never been disappointed!
Food and service were both great. We would visit again. The dinning room was loud and very cold.
My husband and I went for our last date night before having our first child. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent!
Great as always. We love going here for special events.
Had a wonderful experience, food and service was excellent. Really want to know how they make the horseradish cream dip!
Good experience!
Absolutely amazing on all levels! Excellent food with outstanding service.
Great meal for a special occasion.
Great steaks, wine list and desserts.
Nice cappuccino!
We celebrated our 37th anniversary. The atmosphere food and staff was great. They celebrated us by taking a memorable keepsake photo.
When spending money on a steakhouse would probably not return to Peterson's. Would go back to Ruth Chris or St. Elmo.
I thought Sergio was a great and insightful waiter, I appreciate the service we received.
40th anniversary celebration. Former classmate Coy Tipton was exceptional. Very kind, funny, attentative but not over whelming. Just perfect.
I realize we were here for Devour Indy, But the salad was small as was the cheesecake. We were informed that we had received the last Tequila Mockingbird as they had run out of ingredients. Don’t get me wrong the meal was fine, but if you are using Devour as a vehicle to gain new customers, treat them as everyday guest not someone on the cheap.
Excellent date night at Peterson's. Everything was great from the service from Coy, our server to the appetizers, to the entree, to the desert. Looking forward to the next time.
Great food. We took advantage of the Devour Indy menu. Understand that the menu is developed special for Devour, the presentation was less than impressive. I had the 6 oz. Filet which was great, but the vegetables were not the best work and the plate presentation was unimpressive. Assume that if you order the Devour value, you receive less than what Peterson's routinely delivers. With that being said,
the steak is always worth visiting again. We will be back.
We had a wonderful meal at a corner booth table that was perfect for celebrating my birthday. Our waiter was excellent.
My wife and I visited for the first time during Indulge Indy. The seating felt private. Great environment, amazing food from appetizer through dessert and I can’t say enough about the steak! Will definitely go back!
This was mine (and my boyfriend's) first time visiting Peterson's. It was a wonderful treat for both of us, and I know we will be back in the future!
For the price the food is not up to par...maybe it was just because we ordered off of the devour menu. Steak was way over cooked and so was salmon.
The service was excellent, and the food was incredible! I highly recommend the brownie dessert.
Excellent as always!
Lamb chops were delicious. Service was great. My wife loved the salmon.
We tried Peterson's for Devour Indy. We have had much better steak dinners at other restaurants during Devour Indy. They skimped on the portions of everything! The service was great but it isn't a restaurant we would go to again for Devour Indy.
Of all of the high-end restaurants in Indianapolis, Peterson's is the best of the best, in our opinion. The atmosphere is warm & cozy with just enough background music so as not to overwhelm. The service is outstanding and the food is prepared by expert hands. This is the example for all High-end restaurants to follow to justify the price. We wish that we could eat there more frequently, but the price is a bit prohibitive for the average diner. We hope to return again for future special occasions.
Excellent! Great food, atmosphere, and service!
It was a fantastic experience. The steak, delicious.....Lobster so yummy!!!! The atmosphere was sooo romantic. Bethany was an amazing server!!!!! Never knew this tastiness was in our neighborhood. Instead of traveling downtown, when we want a good steak, we know where to go!
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful Birthday meal at Peterson's! First off, our server's name is Noel. Amazingly attentive, anticipated what we would need next, careful to give us privacy. There wasn't a weak link in the meal. Great ambiance, sparkling clean, wonderfully professional and romantic at the same time...this is a special occasion establishment that will NOT disappoint!
Excellent food and service! We took advantage of the Devour Indy week. I started with the lobster bisque which was great. My wife had the petite crab cake and while it was very good, the key word here was petite. We both had the filet mignon. Her’s was the 6 oz and mine was the 8 oz for $10 more. They were both prepared medium and to perfection. Both came with roasted potatoes, broccoli and carrots. Dessert consisted of creme brulee’ and chocolate pot de creme. We accompanied the entire dinner with a bottle of Spanish red wine. A most excellent dining experience!! Will definitely go back!
Sergio was awesome as always!!
Bill did a fabulous job - attentive but not obtrusive. The food was exquisite as always. We have never had a bad meal at Peterson’s. Wish we could afford to come here each week. Don’t get me wrong. The value of the total experience is well worth the dollars spent. We’re just on a retiree budget 😁
Coy was our server and he was stellar. The salads, appetizers and steaks were incredible as usual. I’d put Peterson’s up against any steakhouse in Indy.
