This was my second time at Perabell. I thought the food was amazing, but the service lacked. I felt the waiters/waitresses could have gone the extra mile, and did not on several occassions. I would still recommend to others based on how good the food was.

Have been dining at PeraBell for many years, but had not been there for at least a year and a half. They were one of the first restaurants to open in the newly developed downtown Patchogue area and their cuisine was always outstanding.

But not this time. Out of the 4 of us dining out on a Saturday night, we found the half-chicken roast to be dry as a bone and the seafood was the same. Steak was dry and tasteless. Disappointing. The food tasted more like pubfare than 'moderately' priced cuisine.

The other downtown Patchogue restaurants have caught, and seemingly passed, PeraBell by in the last few years. The dining area needs a re-freshening and they need to decide whether they are a fine dining establishment with a bar, or a vibrant bar with below-average dining for the area.

The food is consistently great here. We were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. The pastrami wrapped salmon is amazing! It was her first visit and she loved it!

I had the muscles as an appetizer and the squid ink ravioli stuffed with crab meat in a roasted red pepper sauce. It was absolutely incredible. The chef never disappoints in his menu choices and the taste and freshness of the food. I could close my eyes and taste every flavor note in each dish. If you haven’t tried the food you’re really missing out.

Seating was punctual. Really squeeze people in though. They did move us to a booth on request but you feel every move of people sitting on other side . Waitress Ari was very pleasant and provided good service. The Autum soup was delicious . The so called cheese cake was terrible; weird texture- more like a coarse moose and sorbet had no flavor. The steakhouse mashed potatoes on the filet mignon special were terrible. How do you mess up mashed potatoes?!! What ever was mixed in was bitter and overpowering and you only get 2 medalions for $35.We might go back for happy hour because the bar was pleasant but I don't think we'd have dinner there again

I usually love Perabell so I was definitely a little disappointed this time, having gone in with high expectations. The tables for two are simply too close together. I was sitting closer to the woman dining next to me than I was to the person I came with, leaving it too hard to have a conversation. And to boot, the table next to us were carrying on a cell phone conversation on speakerphone. Our waitress was sweet, but I did notice after hearing the waitress at the table next to us that ours didn’t read us the specials. Our dinner came out while we were still eating the bread, and finally, there was a kid walking around the dining room soliciting the customers to buy cds or something from him. The manager came and kicked him out, but all added up it was just a disappointing experience overall. And whatever the fries are cooked in gave me a stomachache the next day. I probably won’t be back for awhile.

Great staff. Great food, right in the heart of Patchogue. A must if you are local or just in the area.

we always get great food and service, it is one of our favorites when we want something a little nicer then Fridays or Applebees. Just watch the 'drink specials menu' no prices and didn't expect glasses of sangria to be 10 bucks a SMALL glass

We had a reservation, and were seated promptly at one of the worst tables in the entire restaurant. The fried calamari was good, but the marina sauce was too thin. My shrimp and spaghetti dish was good, but the wife's French Dip was too salty. Overall service was fair at best.

Had 6:45 reservations was seated on time. Did not see a waitress for 25 min. Finely stopped someone to get service, they took our drink order and I asked for some bread neither did not show up at least 10min later. I was not happy with the food. I will not be back.

I have been to Perabell's many times. The service and food is always excellent. If you are seeing a show at Patchogue Theatre next door, this place is perfect. I would recommend reservations on busy nights.

PeraBell is a nice place for dinner. The food is rather good, favorites are the Tuna, Pork shank, and the empanadas. Wasn’t sure if they were short staffed on our visit, but servers were kind of slow, especially with drink orders. Overall good food and I’m sure I’ll be back again.
