   Our second visit to the Peninsula Grill and had a wonderful meal. Susie was our server and she did an amazing job. Had a filet and a ribeye ! The meal was piping hot, cooked perfectly and served with a smile ! Our burrata and beet salad was so good as well. We had to end the meal with a piece of Coconut Cake that is absolutely amazing! See you all next time and we love the Planters Inn and their beautiful restaurant

   This was the best meal we’ve had at The Peninsula Grill in quite a while. The quality of the ingredients shined through the great preparation. All of the meats - the enormous pork chop, lamp chops and steaks were deliciously prepared and cooked perfectly. We loved the unique flavors of the Brussels sprouts and the warm smashed potato salad and our sever was just wonderful! It was a lovely evening and we’ll be back.

   Beautiful restaurant. Service was exceptional. Food was a mixed bag. Wagyu was good. Smashed potatoes were excellent. Scallops were fair. She crab was not hot enough and I’ve had better. Wanted to love it. Ended up liking it.

   Outstanding food and service. Our waiter, Rick was very helpful in helping us understand the each selection and offer alternatives when one main dish had sold out. Great service

   Amazing! Our sommelier Kathleen recommended the perfect Pinot. We had the roasted oysters and cucumber salad appetizers. The smashed potato salad went well with the NY Strip and the scallops were perfect. Of course we shared a 12-layer coconut cake. If you have the means, we highly recommend picking one up.

   This restaurant has now become a family favorite when dining in Charleston. The tile fish and double pork chop were both exceptional, and we complemented the meal with a delicious apple tart. The restaurant has a very warm ambiance and we found the service to be outstanding.

   First and foremost the food was not only beautiful, it was delicious!! The ribeye was cooked to perfection! The crab leg appetizer was spectacular! The coconut cake is to die for! We shared a slice after dinner and got another to go!! I would be remiss if I didn’t shout out the waitstaff. Our primary server, Michelle, was friendly and professional. She was attentive but not overbearing. She was perfection!!

    The food was good but not outstanding. The service was very slow the meal was very expensive for what it was and the unexceptional service. The facility was lovely and the ambience was great.
