   Usually pretty good but last evening the food was poor. The restaurant was hosting a private dinner, and it disrupted the kitchen.

   Went for an Anniversary dinner while in Charleston. Very lovely setting with excellent food/service/surroundings. Was prepared for price and offerings by researching website - accurate. Not sure I would repeat the experience - although we were extremely and pleasantly surprised by the dessert presentation on larger plate with a scripted salute to the occasion in chocolate. Nice touch. Very professional server - knowledgeable, experienced and cordial. A once-in-a lifetime experience. Well done! Bruce

   Our first experience at Peninsula Grill was fantastic. Our server Jessica was perfect. She was friendly and know the best way to time our dinner so we could relax and enjoy. The food was amazing. The room was stylish and cozy. We look forward to coming back soon.

   Had been wanting to try this iconic restaurant in Charleston for a long time! Expectations were met with great vibe, food, and service. Would recommend!!

   Our second visit to the Peninsula Grill and had a wonderful meal. Susie was our server and she did an amazing job. Had a filet and a ribeye ! The meal was piping hot, cooked perfectly and served with a smile ! Our burrata and beet salad was so good as well. We had to end the meal with a piece of Coconut Cake that is absolutely amazing! See you all next time and we love the Planters Inn and their beautiful restaurant

   This was the best meal we’ve had at The Peninsula Grill in quite a while. The quality of the ingredients shined through the great preparation. All of the meats - the enormous pork chop, lamp chops and steaks were deliciously prepared and cooked perfectly. We loved the unique flavors of the Brussels sprouts and the warm smashed potato salad and our sever was just wonderful! It was a lovely evening and we’ll be back.

    Paul was an outstanding server and truly enjoyed his professionalism. The food was good, however, that she crab soup was cold. My husband enjoyed the lamb. The coconut cake was amazing as always! Love the vibe and the upscale atmosphere. Thank you for another pleasurable dining experience!
