We celebrated our Anniversary and had a great meal. New place for us, small but comfortable. Great service and ambiance.
My all time favorite restaurant. Ambiance is simple but the food is consistently amazing and authentic. Everything is fresh and delish!!!
Food was great but felt extremely rushed by our server. Within the first ten minutes of sitting she asked us 4 times if we were ready to order and the third time she informed us she’d be back in one minute to take our order. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Entire meal took 45 minutes. Sat at 6pm for our reservation and walked out at 6:45. I think this was just due to them wanting to flip tables on a Saturday night, but it felt a bit rude. Have been here a few times and this never happened, so will definitely be back. Again, food is delicious!
The food was outstanding. I had the rack of lamb - fantastic. Guests had lasagna and chicken parm, both great. And most importantly, my daughter who has celiac disease had the gluten free penne with chicken and vodka sauce. Which was amazing. Only challenge was how tight the space was (not unusual in the north end). Had some difficulty getting into our seats. Definitely will be back.
The food is always excellent at Pellinos. Service was terrific as well. We come here often. Highly recommended.
Solid Italian staples. Nice wine list. Charming, small restaurant and attentive service.
Great experience. The food was delicious and all their pasta is homemade. The chocolate lava cake for dessert was incredible and our waiter was super nice.
Delicious food in a old Italian home atmosphere! Hi
We went out for a very early dinner with the family and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Great pasta and meatballs with friendly waitstaff.
The wait staff was excellent and the food did not dissapoint.
I wanted to bring my friend from out of town to try some good italian food in the north end. I had never been here but the reviews were good. I would not recommend. We ordered an 18 dollar appetizer the Brusecca I think, it was a block of cheese with a few pieces of lettuce and barely any proscitto, by that I mean like 3 thin slices. And like 3 slices of tomato. Very overpriced and not worth it. The dishes I could’ve gotten from the store and heated up. I was very disappointed. They were not good, especially for the price. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant, let alone in the north end.
I have a peanut and tree nut allergy - this is the first restaurant that I’ve visited that’s 100% nut free. I felt so safe eating, Our server Justin was awesome and the food was super tasty! I will definitely be coming back!
Wanted a good Italian meal in the North End and found it in Pellinos. It’s not a flashy place with waiters standing outside beckoning you in, though that’s a good thing in my opinion. The wait staff is very attentive, food came quickly, and it was delicious. My mom is Italian and a trained and excellent cook. I’ve eaten my way through Italy and as far as Italian food prepared in America goes, I was quite pleased. It’s a cozy spot with good food and good wine at comparable prices. What more can one ask?
Great food and service!
Fantastic food! Quick service!! Friendly wait staff!
Day before Mother’s Day dinner. Great restaurant, friendly staff, excellent food.
Food was excellent & service was terrific. Would definitely recommend.
The best in the North End! Never come to Boston without dinner at Pellinos
We were the only ones in the restaurant for a late lunch. I always get bruschetta at Italian restaurants and it was perfect! Everyone at the table enjoyed. I had ravioli for my main course, two others had fish, and the other three had spaghetti. All were fantastic. A small restaurant, friendly waitress. All good.
My wife and I and our two daughters returned to Pellinos this past Saturday after initially finding it this past fall. Due to covid this was our first indoor dining experience in several months and so happy we chose Pellinos as it was outstanding! Can’t wait to return again real soon.
Great food, good service, happy experience!!!
No nuts at all so it was a plussss and it was soooo good
Kind waitress and good food. Would recommend and go again
Charming and amazing food! We had the window seat which was perfect, service was quick and food portions were good.
Nice, small quiet restaurant in the heart of the North End.
The lobster ravioli was to die for! So fresh, amazing sauce, thin homemade pasta. Very quiet place, not great for a loud group of friends like ours. Service was accommodating and flexible.
A gem in the North End. Always a favorite of ours. Glad to see they are open in the Pandemic. Very good menu, cocktails, and service.
Went for NYE dinner and unfortunately it wasn’t our best experience. I think they were having an off night, we usually love them!
The Veal Amalfi was great. The service was delightful.
A welcome respite on a rainy day, our hostess was attentive and food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely visit again, a great value
Pros: loved sitting outside on Prince Street; nicely spaced tables and no cars driving by your table; really nice atmosphere; food portions were medium sized— not too little, not too much; value was as expected for a table of 4; Non-pasta food was very good (shrimp & chicken)
Cons: waited a bit for water in our glasses; service was not welcoming/ seemed disinterested; and I agree with others that the pasta was bland/ tasteless; no garlic in shrimp scampi? raviolis had minimal cheese in them? Side pasta tasteless?
I would be willing to give it another try;
Family in from AZ. Everything was perfect!!! They are doing a great job w outdoor seating too. Will definitely be back.
I have eaten here several times and it's always the same ..great food and service
This place is amazing!!
my husband and I enjoy Pellino's every year for our anniversary. this year we shared the experience with friends, they LOVED it. we have recommended Pellino's to everyone who will listen. Our favorite spot in the north end. <3
Our server was lovely! We had a great time dining outdoors and really enjoyed the food. Definitely recommend the cannolis.
We meet friends for a late lunch/early dinner at Pellinos, sitting outside on Prince Street. The ambiance is perfect. Fun to have tourists walk by far enough away to feel safe. The food was terrific. I had Veal Saltinboca which was yummy. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. We started off with an antipasto and garlic bread. Both excellent. We shared a dessert - chocolate molten cake - was devoured by all 4 of us.
My husband loved the pappardelle roasted corn. The server was very attentive with refilling our water glasses.
This past Saturday evening my wife and I are our two teenage daughters visited the restaurant for our very first time. We made a reservation via Open-table earlier in the morning and shortly afterwards someone from the restaurant called to confirm the reservation which was a nice touch and an indication of how good our visit would be. Originally we were seated outside, however, due to raindrops we asked to be seated inside which our waitress, who’s name I feel so bad I can’t remember, quickly sat our inside. She was phenomenal asking us about drinks and bring it out bread & olive oil. We ordered the antipasto appetizer, which was delicious, and really appreciated that she didn’t rush us to take our dinner orders. All four of our meals were outstanding including my Veal Portafino which was so delicious as well as my wife’s Lobster Ravioli. We have been so many times to the north end for dinner at other establishments but somehow had never come across this hidden gem, but rest assured we will definitely be back to Pellino’s soon and it will become our favorite.
