Food and service were extraordinary. Staff went out of their way to find our party
of six a quieter table so we could enjoy a 'mini-rpi reunion.' The food was exceptional
especially the pea cake and the cauliflower.
We went to Peck's arcade for a graduation dinner. Everything was delicious and it was an enjoyable dining experience with attentive staff. Reasonably priced
I can’t believe I had one of my best dinners in Troy, NY. The restaurant is tight and very loud, but the food is fantastic.
The food was excellent but the online menu is not updated to reflect the real choices for the day.
The noise level was very high and interferes with the dining experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. Love the small plates approach and service
The food is always outstanding as are the amazing staff, servers and chefs! I highly recommend Pecks as the perfect spot for a great meal and fantastic night!
Everything was incredible! What cool decor. A wonderful meal celebrating a special occasion w/ friends.
Great food. Menu is always changing. Can't wait to try Donna's.
Flawless. Two of the six dishes are now on the top 10 things I've ever eaten in my life. Cannot wait to go back!
There were about 10 appetizers and only 3 entrees, which were all pasta. It was a very odd set up. The portions were incredibly small AND you had to PAY FOR bread! It was extremely expensive for such small portions.
Spectacular evening. Our waitress Paula Wes very attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Girls get together. Food exceeded our expectations.
Waitstaff was very attentive, made sure that every course was to our liking (which they absolutely were!). For two people, recommend 4-5 shared dishes, leaving room for the delicious desserts.
Great food and atmosphere
Hands down the best service and food in Troy! We always try to spend our special occasions with Peck's and it always proves worthy!
We had a great time celebrating our friends 88th birthday. The food was excellent as was the service. This was the first time we encountered the idea of sharing plates and it was throughly enjoyable tasting the different dishes. Our server answered all of our questions and was very attentive and friendly as were the other staff. The birthday girl loved Pecks and believe me she is hard to please. I have already recommended Pecks to friends.
Best atmosphere, food, service.. we love peck's arcade
While I enjoyed the music genre on the sound system, it was frequently far too loud during our visit. I don't recall ever being in a restaurant with this problem. I understand they formerly had a DJ whose playlist was blasted at far higher volume. I can't imagine what that was like. We were fortunate, however, that the sound was, ultimately, reduced to something barely tolerable. Interestingly, the volume went up and down on a number of times during our 2 hour stay before it was set at an arguably reasonable level, assuming your under 30 This suggests there may not be an established management guideline on the proper volume. I suspect the servers were responding to customer complaints which, of course, were probably, "it's too loud" or "it's not loud enough" , and everything in between.
We really enjoyed the creative menu and we'd really like to go back for the food but....
I'll recommend Peck's with a music volume caveat. I don't know what they're thinking. Do they want to be a nightclub or a restaurant?
Celebrating a retirement
Third visit. Menu changes weekly. Knowledgeable servers and great wine list
Food and server Paula were outstanding! The only issue we had was with the music, which was so loud we had to shout across the table at each other. We were seated right next to the music, and 1 employee kept turning it up every time he walked by, and then another employee would turn it back down.
This is definitely one of, if not THE, best restaurant in the Capital Region. If it's your first time, go for the chef's choice at $60 for two people. Every dish was perfection and the flavors, textures and presentation were refined but fun. I love this place!
We have dined at Peck's several times and each time we leave full and happy. The food is creative, wonderful and down right tasty. I go back just for the mushrooms! We prefer sharing plates rather than each person ordering separately. The staff is terrific - know their stuff - make you feel welcome.
My absolute favorite restaurant in the Capital Region. Everything about it is fresh and vibrant.
Peck's Arcade is what every emerging neighborhood needs. Everything about the experience is elevated yet as relaxed and familiar as possible. The food is wonderfully conceived and perfectly executed, seasonal and local without being fussy. The staff friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The rambling, multi faceted layout and organic feel of the design a the perfect focal point for the rapidly emerging 'new small city' environment of Troy, NY. Even the soundtrack was perfect. The closest comparison I can make to the overall feel and aesthetic is Tom Colicchio's Craft properties.
Always a fantastic time at Peck's. We requested Quang as our server when we made the reservation and he was phenomenal as usual. Food was delicious and my favorite was the panna cotta for dessert. Never had a bad meal or service here. It has been my favorite restaurant in the area for years.
Such a treat to have that quality of food here in the capital region. Excellent service, fresh ingredients, and unusual flavor pairings. YUM!
This is a great neighborhood restaurant but don't be in a hurry to get a drink - 25 minutes was clocked from the time we sat down til the drinks were delivered. Food is inventive and well prepared. Multiple servers seemed to create unexplainable missteps - i.e. My husband ordered dessert, I didn't. When the server passed by, I asked for just one scoop of the ice cream that was featured in another dessert preparation. It came, I ate, and my husband still didn't have his dessert. When the server was questioned, she said there was no such dessert as what he ordered and when she was pushed further, as that made no sense, she said the dessert order was cancelled because I ordered the ice cream!!!???? Okay.....
This is just my palates opinion. Walking in we were greeted by a lovely hostess whose smile and demeanor started our evening off great. She led us to the chefs counter, my favorite place to be in any restaurant that offers it. We immediately looked at the menus and saw my favorite two words Chefs Selections. It was a no brainier except for the fact that my wife is 7 months pregnant and allergic to most seafood and shellfish. After seeing her belly and hearing about the allergy there was no other discussion. It was on. The chefs behind the line were friendly and informative. We talked with the head chef briefly before our first of five courses were served. First up pan fried sweet potato cake with scallion purée and fresh herbs. Very well ballenced in flavor and presentation was perfect. Next up were mushrooms. Oh my word. These were amazing. Coated in butter and seasoned to perfection. I could have been done there when they brought roasted beets with pickled vegitables. I love beets and the clean, simple approach was great. Next was grilled red snapper over a fried rice cake. The fish was light and well seasoned. A little over cooked for my liking but very good. The rice cake was a little bland but the sauce helped out. Finally my wife's favorite course the homage gnocchi with a pork ragu sauce. The gnocchi were light and fluffy and the sauce hearty and thick. Perfect ending. The wait staff were incredible attentive and lovely. Our waitress always had a smile and made us feel like we were the only ones there, even though the place was packed. Make your reservation a couple weeks in advance for optimal dinning time. Ask for the chefs counter, if that is your thing and come hungry.
Great service, food, and drinks! Our server, Jennifer, couldn't have been more attentive or knowledgeable. We enjoyed eating outside on a beautiful February night.
Excellent, as always- we sat at the bar closest to the chef, and enjoyed it very much. This restaurant has a real "Brooklyn Vibe" and we enjoy the ambiance, and creative dishes very much! Many thanks!
Awesome, as always
This was truly a dining experience. The ordering of several different small plates gave me the opportunity to try very different delicacies like snail, octopus and lamb. Each was uniquely prepared with various sauces and glazes. Very enjoyable. However, the portions were quite small for the price paid.
Food and service above and beyond like usual. But, to showcase a DJ for dinner at such a tasteful and selective restaurant, you would think the music would be as refined and tasteful as the food and service. Not bashing the DJ, just would expect more from an establishment that prides itself on quality.
Very inventive, mostly successful menu, unfortunately fully priced for the modest portion sizes. Hardly any clams nor clam flavor with the tagliatelle. At $11/glass the white wines should be better, both the Mueller Thurgau and the Sauv. blanc lacked an edge. Lighting acceptable though barely, and bleak. Acoustics OK, friendly competent service.
Always amazing! I can't say enough great things about this place! My husband and I dine here very often because we can't get enough! Quang is a fantastic server and the food is out of this world.
Awesome service and live DJ in-house playing the latest, laid back tunes. There was a 4 course Prix Fixe menu specific for Valentine's Day at a reasonable price per person. Overall, great food, great food and good music..what more can you ask for? :)
It's always great at Peck's, can't wait for my next visit ❤️❤️❤️
We had a great experience there a year and a half ago. All-around lousy this time.
