Not what it used to be. Staff didn't know the (expensive) wine list. There were still some old favourites there, and they were good. But there were some strange inventions that didn't work, and some were absurdly small portions for the price. The worst was still offering a dessert when they had clearly run out of the key ingredient, lukewarm and undercooked, delivered with no comment.

It’s been too long since we returned but as ever the food still excellent and really good value given the quality of the food on offer. Each dish had its own creative and accomplished combo of flavours and textures. Prepare to share so you can taste as much of the menu as possible! Well done to John and his whole team for the food, service and relaxed friendly ambience - go there and enjoy it!

Food was delicious, restaurant had a great ambience. However, I disappointed with the meal for a number of reasons (i) waiting to be sat for sometime when we arrived (ii) asked to move table (restaurant already heaving at this point) once our drinks had arrived (iii) long wait for first main dish we ordered (starters delicious) (iv) they told us quite a while after the late first mains dish arrived, the second we ordered was not available (v) The kitchen then forgot to cook the third mains dishes we ordered (vi) They offered to take the wine of the bill as they acknowledged the service had been terrible (kind of them), but then forgot to do this and presented a bill including the wine (vii) They offered free desert (again kind of them), but then sent the Baklava out with the wrong ice cream. The staff were clearly embarrassed, and genuinely trying to compensate, but it was all these things combined that left me feeling irritated. Obviously understaffed and the kitchen struggling to keep up. They had obviously taken far too many bookings with not enough staff. To food was delicious, and the time I eat there before also delicious. I am just not going to go there again on busy evening (Fridays and weekends). Such a shame, booked it for my partners birthday meal and in hindsight wish I had booked somewhere else.

Always love going to Peckham Bazaar. Great sharing dishes, delicious and good value. Service is always excellent.
