My only regret is that even tho I had checked the box on the Open Table site that I was going there for the Lobster Night, when I went, there were no lobsters left. So, instead, I ordered the mustard-encrusted lamb chops which were outstanding. The dinner rolls are addictive. Wonderful place - I just hope the next time I go for lobster they have it.
We did not stay to eat. Exterior had trash and trash cans by main door. No one was available to seat us, and the bar was empty. We did not see an employee so we did not stay.
I checked "food" because it was necessary in order to move on.
Stress level was very high because was a high demand day “Valentines”. I hope that’s why service wasn’t that great.
Overall very good
We went for a nice romantic dinner. We were a little concerned based on some of the pictures online, but we were seated in a nice booth in a side room. It was relatively quiet. The food was excellent. My husband had the prime rib and I had the Patio sampler. We will definitely return. There is a attractive bar area as well.
Food was terrible. Minestrone soup was strange - seemed like a tomato soup base with veggies. Onion soup was okay but bread in soup was two balls of bread. Filet was dry and salty. The side of mashed red potatoes were hard and not hot as though they had been plated well prior to being served. Fried seafood platter was fair. Fish was good, shrimp were okay but oysters were dry, dry dry like they had been reheated. Waitress was nice and was trying her best. Gave this place a second try on Valentine’s Day after having a bad experience there a number of years ago but sorry to say I will mark this restaurant off my list.
We enjoy going there because of the food they carry. The fish and chips are almost equal to that in England. This is the only place I have found Manhattan Clam Chouder like my dad made.
Food was good. Very noisy restaurant!
Dirty, and empty. It’s not a 4 star!!
Went to sit outside (under an awning) in the warm. Waitress was attentive despite the fact that everyone was inside enjoying the bad. Food was great, and thoroughly enjoyed the baked Brie.
The food was fantastic and my server, Sunny, was wonderful. I very much enjoyed it
Hmm not too good.
Christmas Dinner was fairly crowded. The restaurant was under staffed resulting in horrible delays in service, forgotten salads and soups. One entree was forgotten and we had to wait for the correct entree, then they butterflied they filet and ruined it
Great food. Entertainment in bar area was enjoyable.
We were visiting Vero last weekend and decided to check into the Patio. Kind of quiet for a Saturday night, but it was the busiest shopping day of the year, no matter, our evening was wonderful. Great food with great friends in a warm and friendly location. Two of us had the Ahi grade tuna, amble amounts, cooked perfectly. My wife had the Grouper tacos, which were delicious. The whole night went very well and the $64,000 question, would we return?
Answer Absolutely Yes!!! Give the Patio a try! You will not be disappointed
One person in our party order a chicken selection. It was raw in the middle and had to be sent back. She had no appetite afterwards. The restaurant was apologetic but did not comp the meal.
Anniversary dinner to enjoy the Dave Scott Jam it was outstanding way to celebrate
We went here on a Friday at 7:30, sat right down. Had the best server, Kathleen. Other patrons were so friendly too, chatted with us asking us where we were from... my husband had the prime rib and it was absolutely delish. My son and I shared the beef nachos. Very good!! Can’t go wrong at this place!
First and only time we will visit this restaurant. Not a very clean place was the first thing we noticed...cobwebs and dusty. Then we started reading the menu and there are about 12 misspelled words and some items are left off. I ordered the sea scallops which never in the menu did it say anything about fish roe. Just a heads up...don’t go to this restaurant if you have ANY food allergies. I happen to be allergic to fish...not shellfish. So to my surprise when my scallops came out with roe...well you can figure it out. Needless to say...definitely will not be going back. Food was over priced and average at best!!! We
We appreciate your feedback and respect all's opinion and thank you for bring to our attention these deficiencies in. The Scallop dish to which you refer was remade upon your request and we will mention that our guests have loved this dish, many saying that it is the best scallop dish in Vero Beach. It has been one of our best sellers for over the past 4 1/2 years. While I understand that pricing is always a sensitive subject we are proud to offer the freshest and finest ingredients.
Way past it’s prime, more of a biker hangout now. My wife asked about gluten free options and response was somehow geared to make her feel guilty for asking. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Good food, fun atmosphere, friendly service.
We arrived at the restaurant at 5:25 for our 5:30 reservation. The hostess told us we didn’t have a reservation but it didn’t matter because they had tables available. Well it does matter!, I have never had a problem with an Open Table reservation before. I wanted an entree that was on the Sunset menu, which stated it was from 4 to 6 pm. Our server said no that the sunset menu ended at 5:30. My husband ordered an appetizer of grouper fingers which were served with a dish of butter instead of the correct dipping sauce. When our server came back to check on us the grouper fingers had been eaten already without the sauce. We were a party of 5. Two of the dinners were very good. The lamb chops and the scallops. The shrimp and lobster scampi was 4 large shrimp served over lobster ravioli, the kind you by in the grocery store, not fresh made. The pork Osso Bucco was served cool and didn’t have much meat on it. One member of the party wanted prime rib but they only have prime rib on Friday and Saturday night. The server however suggested she could have the kitchen use the prime rib from the sandwich that was featured on the menu. The request was for well done, but it came rare with cheese melted on top!! It went back to the kitchen to be cooked. We scraped he cheese off. Our server was very pleasant and did her best, but we won’t be going back there!! And don’t bother making your reservation on Open Table because they obviously don’t pay any attention to it!
Tues nites dueling pianos great entertainment. Highly recommend the Ribeye.
Vacation with the kids.
Food was very good value, service just ok
The food was absolutely delicious! The service was mediocre at best. Very noisy
Food is always great and friendly service!
Their website said happy hour was until 7:00. We were seated at 6:00 and told it ended at 5:30. Our full priced wine was a skimpy pour. Food was ok but not worth a return visit.
Good Morning, Thank you for your feedback and I would like to clarify your concerns. We in fact do offer happy hour until 7pm, 7 days a week in the outside and inside bars. This is clearly stated on our web site. As an additional benefit to our guests we offer twilight specials in the dining areas which is from 4pm to 5:30pm which include a 3 course meal options and discounted beer, wine and liquor. Please visit web site at home/happy-hour--bar-menus/
Natalie is great. She took excellent care of us and was very accommodating.
They have great service and the food is excellent.
Wow!!! The food was amazing!! The biscuits tasted like my grandma was back there in the kitchen cooking!!! From the outside and our initial interaction, we did not have high expectations HOWEVER the place superseded our expectation!
Natalie, the server, was great. We came back a second night - in a row - it was so good!
Great food, great service. We will be back.
Fish wasn't cooked and waiter didn't act like he cared. Looks like chef tried to broil a piece of frozen fish. No wonder place was empty on a Saturday night in season.
Thank you for your feedback but I can assure you that all our seafood is fresh and that we use the best ingredients. I do apologize that your fish was under-cooked and wonder what you ordered? As for the comment about not being full, well I would be happy to share with you that we have very full all week but the worlds largest Frog Leg festival was being held the weekend in question and while we were busy early we were a bit quite later in the evening. info@thepatioseafoodtavern
Good choices. Good meal with good size portions. Good service.
Service was slow, Most of the time they forgot..Appetizer was cold, Entree was cold and fatty .
Cocktails over priced.
Went for New Years Eve..a patron was giving out party favors.
Most unimpressive place especially for a special night.
Waste of time and money..
It was a perfect place for a reunion and certainly a very memorable one. However, one thing is that both myself and another guest who had the spare ribs had upset stomachs during the night. I found them a bit dry. I hear they are amazing and feel perhaps they weren’t their best that night. I still will return but maybchise another option.
Wonderful. Everything was perfect
More people should go to this charming (in an old-fashioned way) restaurant. Our dinners were very good, imaginative and well prepared. Our server was pleasant, friendly and efficient.
It was good and the band was great!
