It was a delightful and delicious meal with superb service!
We were there for Mother’s Day. There was a nice, fixed price 4-course set menu. Most items from fixed menu were good. The fish, however, a bit dry. Wait staff was very attentive. My real only complaint is the noise level was quite loud. I would go back.
The food, wine, and service are always good here. The ambiance is pretty good considering it's in a strip shopping center with concrete floors.
Disappointing. Food was below average at above average prices. Server was pleasant but not this is not a fine dining experience.
They didn't have the first 2 steaks I tried to order so I ended up ordering the Wagau tomahawk ribeye. The steak had 4 cuts across it, I assume so the chef could check it. I asked them to substitute asparagus for the grilled vegetables. They charged me full price for the asparagus and didn't bring the vegetables. That is not what should be done. A small uncharge wouldn't have been a problem, but $10 for 4 pieces of asparagus?
I attached 1 pic of the steak on their website and another of what I got. I ordered it medium rare and they brought it on a hot plate with coals under it. By the time I was finished eating it, the meat cooked until it was gray and well done.
Good food that is flavorful and has an Argentine flair. Service was very good. The place itself is not exciting looking but it is comfortable. Interesting wine list focused on Argentine Malbec.
Excellent restaurant. Food very good. Our waitress, Veronica, was very knowledgeable of the wines and food. She is a great asset to Patagonia Grill. Definitely recommend.
WE LOVE TO COME TO THIS RESTAURANT FOR DINNER OR BUSINESS LUCH
FOOD IS DELICIOUS! VERY GOOD SERVICES !
Even though there was a large group (rehearsal dinner) the staff was very attentive and food arrived quickly.
The portions were very small for the price. They did have a great selection of wine.
It was amazing
Valentine’s Day was our first visit for fixed price offering, $65 five course. Everything was absolutely fantastic....we will be back!
Great place to have a meal with friends, the food is great and the service is impeccable!
A must go!
Fantastic food. Pleasant, knowledgeable waiter, personable owner/chef!
The food is fabulous. My wife and I have eaten here several time and each time the food and service was exceptional. Their home made pasta is to die for and all foods have a unique and outstanding taste.
This is now the second time that we have at Patagonia Cafe. The service is outstanding and all the waiters are always making sure your experience is perfect. The food is outstanding and the crepe is the best damn desert I have ever ate before in my life. Hands down one of the best places in Houston to eat! We will always be back that’s for sure!
Very poor service. After tiny salad had to wait for about 1.5 hrs until the food arrived. Waitress was nowhere to be seen. Charged my card twice, two transactions now pending. Worst restaurant experience I had in Houston for years
Great food and service! The house wine was really good and they were really nice with all the demands from children
Cibo buono soprattutto la carne ottima ma costoso. Il vino molto costoso. La bottiglia meno cara un vino argentino da 45 $. Ma soldi ben spesi per l" ultima notte dell'anno
My wife and in laws enjoyed our dinner. Great atmosphere and awesome service.
Excellent service and great food. Recommend this restaurant.
It’s very Pricey so be prepared to spend some money ! The food portions were smaller than expected and the taste was average don’t order a steak it’s literally the size of a small rectangle and flat as a pancake but overall the atmosphere is romantic
Just a wonderful place to eat, friendly and well crafted food. Empanadas!
Great food and great service! The atmosphere is romantic.
Absolute fantastic date night restaurant. Live musician playing American and Tango was amazing! Food and service A++
Meet an old friend for lunch. We had the executive lunch for $25. It is worth every penny and more. This is Argentina cuisine. Lunch started with an empanada, salad, steak with mushrooms mashed potatoes grilled veggies and ended with a Argentine crepe. Simply delicious. Best kept secret on I-10 in west Houston.
Way overpriced for the quality of food. Appetizer, salad and entree where soaked in oil. My sea bass was bland. Only the quail was somewhat edible. We paid $150 for dinner for two. I wish I had taken my hard earned money else where. Taste of Texas or Ruth’s chris to name a few. Oh and this isn’t a $ restaurant more like a $$ or $$. This is our second time here, we decided to give it a second chance but we definitely won’t be back ever!
Great service and ambiance. Food was flavorful and server was knowledgeable about the dishes. Will be back again!
Patagonia was good except for my short ribs. They were very tough and not good. The other 4 people's food was good, and service was good and I liked the restaurant. The short ribs were however really bad.
AMAZING! That's really the only way to sum this place up. Completely unexpected. When you drive up it a little place in a strip center and walk inside all previous judgements are quickly dropped. The food is so perfect and delicious in it's simplicity. Best empanadas I've had and the service was great! Go here and go soon!!!
First visit, has a very nice meal at a reasonable price. Excellent service and nice ambience.
Nos encata este restaurante, siempre nos sentimos en familia con ustedes!
We had a fantastic evening. It was the last day of our vacation and the music and ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. The meat platter and ribeye were very generous portions although not exactly cheap, but that was not what we were looking for.
Overall very good.
Best authentic Argentina food;
Great wine selection; and
Owners and staff are always welcoming and friendly.
We enjoy eating at Patagonia. The service is very good; the food is very good. We choose it for the ambiance and the ability to talk with those in the group. Despite bad weather due to Hurricane Harvey, the restaurant was mostly stocked and provided a delicious meal.
Last night, the wife & I had another date night. 👫💑💏
We started off with dinner at Patagonia Grill and Cafe. We chose them strictly based on their Houston Restaurant Weeks menu. $35 for 4 courses PLUS a glass of wine or ice tea! Yes, please 😊 🍽🍴
Once we are seated, they delivered a bread basket with a bowl of what appeared to be chimichurri.
For our 1st course/appetizers we both selected the Empanada - Choice of 2 Argentinean Empanadas (Beef, Chicken, Spinach & Mushroom or Onion & Cheese). Beef for me, chicken for her. 🐮🐔 Then we swapped one each, so we could sample both flavors.
I love empanadas & these were great.
Next was the 2nd course. Shelly got the Asparagus Soup (good, creamy and smooth) while I had a wonderful Mixed Greens and Crab Cake Salad with famous Pink Sauce and King Shrimp.
For the 3rd course, we both ordered the 44 Farms 10 oz Ribeye Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Cream of Mushroom Sauce. 🔪 The steaks were a perfect medium rare. 🐴🐂🐃 The tators were velvety smooth. Delicious. 🥔
Now the sweetest course, the dessert. My better half went with the Argentinean Crepes (panqueques) with Dulce de Leche. The tiny bite she let me have was terrific. My choice was Tres leches. 🍰 Another awesome find, thanks to HRW.
Nice little Argentinian restaurant in a nothing-ness strip center; never would have thought it would be so nice on the inside.
Inviting bar, friendly & knowledgeable staff, and great food. Will definitely be returning.
We ordered off restaurant week lunch menu. All was tasty , served hot and delicious. CON: desserts too sweet. Waitress never asked if I wanted anything from the bar.
Excellent personnel. Friendly and attentive. Even the chef came out. Food was exceptional and setting was very relaxing. Would recommend the restaurant to everyone!
I was very excited to try this restaurant as I had seen several great reviews. I was also looking for a new place for a group of us who go out regularly. Three of us ate at Patagonia for HRW.
The empanadas were good, but one of my two had uncooked dough. Two of us had the fish which had a great sounding cognac sauce. There was no flavor of cognac and my fish was too cold to eat. My friend's was too fishy tasting and she couldn't eat it at all. A third member of our party had the pork chop, he said it was good, nothing special. Service was ok, not great. Once the server took our order, we saw him again when he brought the food, and then no more.
I had to flag him down once and ask another to get some water. All in all, a disappointing experience.
