The service was impeccable, augmented by our waiter - Joe’s - sense of humor and attentive service. The food was exceptional - the turtle soup was as good as any I’ve ever had, and the fish dishes we ordered -pecan crusted snapper and redfish Sheila - also were excellent. We’ve been to 527 many times, and while it’s always good, last night it was exceptional.

When we're at Pat Gallagher's 527, we always say the same thing... "We've got to come back here more often." The entire dining experience is superb,...great food, wonderful service, excellent ambiance, and friendly people. To sum it up, this is as good as it gets.

The food is always great. We started with a sampler of three soups. French onions, turtle and gumbo. All three were perfect. Then we had a filet and a fish dish with a side of sweet potatoes (which were incredible). The steak was cooked perfectly.

Service very good and attentive. Food below average for the New Orleans area. New Orleans has high standards. Very loud environment. It was hard to hear each other. It was very hard to find this restaurant. Very hard. The decor was OK and not intrusive to the experience. The table was roomy. In summary I will stick to New Orleans. I apologize for the negative review because a friend likes it.

We took my mother there for her 77th birthday. Waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Extensive whiskey selection. Will definitely go back.

I was kinda late for my Valentine’s Day dinner and they worked with me and made sure I still got a chance to sit down and eat. For that reason alone I’m telling the world how good of a place this is. Lamb chops and Quail was some of the best I ever had. Along with Au Gratin potatoes and Brussels sprouts.

It was our first time here so we were very excited to try. Very pretty atmosphere but did not enjoy ourselves as much as we thought. The service was slow and we weren’t checked up on very often. We felt ignored l. Wonder if it was because we were a younger couple and for some reason servers label younger people as not good tippers which is far from that. We kept being offered bread and never got it. I went without anything to drink my whole meal. Luckily we had a gift card so couldn’t be that disappointed but we wouldn’t go back to spend that much money on food with poor service. Made it hard to enjoy. The food was delicious, drinks were ok. Sad to say we won’t be back

Celebrated a birthday. We were seated promptly. Our waitress was excellent as was the food. The noise level is not good and they were super busy. A large party was across from us (corporate outing ). They were very loud and had a hard time keeping the doors to their semi private room closed. If they were opened we could not carry on a conversation.

We visit for each of our birthdays every year and it never disappoints! The food is amazing, the service is outstanding, and everyone is so pleasant. We pretty much stick to the same entrees but my husband ventured out with ribs last visit and was not disappointed! Perfectly seasoned and tender. Can’t wait for our next visit.
