    527 is Gallagher’s flagship restaurant on the north shore, and it repeatedly shows why. The food is dependably of high quality, the service is attentive and prompt, and the ambience is welcoming and only a bit noisy. While all three of Gallagher’s restaurants in the Mandeville - Covington area share what is essentially the same menu, the 527 kitchen consistently turns out the best versions that have an added touch that makes them exceptional. It’s obviously because this is where Pat Gallagher chooses to man the main chef duties. Overall, it’s a consistently rewarding experience.

    A group of three and we all loved our entree’s! The food was absolutely delicious and we received the most outstanding service from Jordan. We will definitely be back!

    Food was exceptionally good Easter Sunday 2025. Had filet, cooked perfectly medium rare and fabulous tasting red fish topped with crab meat and beurre blanc sauce. Also had garlic mashed potatoes and blue cheese wedge salad, both are always great. Key lime pie for dessert was very good too…Love having Pat Gallaghers in my neighborhood 💕

    Great food! Blackened flounder, fresh fish almondine, creamed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, ooey gooey all delicious! Great service! Wish I knew our server’s name. She was great! Thank you!
