   Several folks recommended Pasta Moon and we were not disappointed! The building itself is beautiful, the noise level is just right, the tables are far enough apart you aren't bothered by your neighbors and the piano player was one of the best I have heard in a restaurant setting. The food was great. My wife had the waiter-recommended fish chowder and I had the waiter-recommended Orange Fennel Arugula Salad. We both decided to order pizza, the waiter recommended the sausage pizza (which I had) and my wife had the Spicy Rock Shrimp, they were far larger than we expected and we only ate half each. And they were wonderful. The crust was flakey and the flavors on the pizzas were great. Our only disappointment was that we were only in town for that one night and we couldn't come back the next night to try other dishes.

   The food was amazing! The restaurant was lovely, and noise level in the main dining area where we were seated was nice for large room (we could engage in conversation easily and weren't overcome with other people's conversations). Truly, the food definitely lived up to the glowing recommendations we'd had from friends (those who lived in the area and those who, like us, were visiting Half Moon Bay). Each course was flavorful, creative and artfully presented. The Bus Person was so friendly and managed to take care of each of our needs before we were aware we needed something. The waiter ... not as much (maybe he was having an off night). All in all, it was a lovely evening with wonderful food and drinks!

   Food is constantly good. Service is great. Host staff was very considerate and called me in the morning to move my table reservation indoor to a high counter table by the bar due to cold weather. I am so grateful that she did because we wouldn’t be able to eat outdoors. It was to cold and windy. Thank you.

   We were seated promptly in a nice location. The place is absolutely beautiful inside and an extensive wine cellar. Our server was Fabio. He was OK. The girl that poured our water was better. Both of our meals were huge and we had leftovers. We had been winetasting so didn’t want any more wine. I had a nice old-fashioned. We had the lemon parfait Yum Yum even my husband who doesn’t usually eat dessert liked it.
