The mussels in wine sauce were excellent. The bread was excellent. The duck a l'orange was well cooked but the meat was stringy. Also the grilled brussel sprouts overpowered the delicate flavor of the meat. I did not care for the addition of mandarin pieces. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this dish. The outdoor ambiance is excellent with a partial view of the water fall. The outdoor seating is in a public area so there will be people walking through the dining area to get to the public toilet and the elevator. Just be aware of that. The ambiance was quiet with low background music.

We love this restaurant. We were able to get a reservation for brunch with some out of town guest. Our server was the only server we’ve ever had that has proactively asked about our allergies that are listed in our profile. The service was outstanding and food was delicious!

Took some out-of-state friends there for lunch on Labor Day. We had excellent cocktails, yummy food and good service. It’s a wonderful spot for enjoying the Falls, the Liberty Bridge and walking over to see the great Grand Bohemian Hotel with its fab architecture and gorgeous Native American art on display. There may be better restaurants Downtown but the cuisine and locale combine for an exception experience!

I booked this place for my husband's birthday a month before and noted it on the reservation. When we arrived, we were told "that they could see if they could squeeze us in." The server seemed like we were a big inconvenience the entire time and barely checked on us throughout the meal. At one point, I asked for more water, and she just rolled her eyes and huffed off. Our bill was more than $200, and we tipped 25%, but it was a let-down of a birthday celebration during our first ever trip to Greenville.

The quality of the food was very good. I enjoyed the appetizer. I thought the main course was meh, not at all impressed. Didn't compare to the Chicken Cordon Bleu I've had in other restaurants. The desert was basically flavorless and soupy. Not at all like your traditional mousse.

No restaurant in Greenville has a better location. The restaurant is next to and overlooks upper Reedy Falls. Make a reservation and request a seat adjacent to the railing on that side. Excellent view, ambiance, and food. Would definitely go again on a return trip to Greenville.

Fabulous food and service in one of the most beautiful locations in Greenville. Complaints? A couple. 1) An excellent French restaurant that doesn’t serve good crusty French bread with meals? Unheard of in any other I’ve been to. Want some bread? 4 slices for $7. Really? 2) Prices have risen significantly over the last few years. I’m sure, as for a lot of small businesses, brutal inflation has made the cost of food higher. I’d guess this is the reason for complaint #1. This won’t stop us from going back because of the high quality of the food, service and location, but will definitely decrease the number of visits to a couple per year.

This was the first restaurant we went to when we met back in 2006. Lovely atmosphere and service. We both had the duck. Good flavors and taste, but the duck was very tough to eat.

Service was very hospitable but waitress could have informed us that, when we switched side dishes with each other, we would be charged an up charge. We could have just as easily switched our sides when our meals came to the table for no additional charge! My medium rare hamburger came out medium well and was rather skimpy in size. They brought me a replacement (with bun when I asked for no bun) which was still medium instead of medium rare. The manager did come over and was very polite and apologetic. They did not charge us for the Burger which I did not at all enjoy and only ate a few bites. Nothing that we ordered was at all noteworthy. However, the salad that came with the goat cheese appetizer was very tasty. If I were to return for the location and ambience, I would probably order a salad.

We ordered Minelli's Breakfast Sandwich, Steak Potato Hash, and the Bouillabaise. The breakfast sandwich had a runny egg which we had requested to be a hard fried egg upon ordering. It was sent back to the chef twice before he provided a new sandwich. The waitress felt so bad that the manager comped the sandwich which we really appreciated. The steak was burned on the outside so badly that it was not edible, the type of burn that happens on a grill that is not cleaned properly. The potatoes were cold and the dish lacked in flavor all together. The baguette with the Bouillabaise was also burned in the same way. It was black. The waitress and manager were nice and it was not their fault the food was not impressive. We have wanted to go here for so long and finally had the opportunity just to be dissatisfied. The steak and potatoes was returned as a full plate and the waitress did not even ask how the meal was or anything. Since they already comped one meal we did not want to complain but had the waitress inquired after seeing a full plate we would have explained. Please save your money, there are so many other amazing restaurants in Greenville.

Service was a bit slow because there were only 2 waitresses and it was quite busy, however they managed rather well. We sat outside, close to the falls but no view, very nice, under an umbrella. We had the bistro burger, good, with fries that while crispy were too salty. We also had a Nicoise salad, quite tasty although almost too wet, hence the 4 stars. The crusty bread is tasty but more chewy than crusty, it was just warmed, with tasty butter and olive tapenade. The chocolate mousse for dessert was delicious. I would go back.

Three of us enjoyed an early lunch on Monday (when many restaurants are closed) and have only good things to say. We booked an 11:30 reservation on OpenTable and were seated against the railing with an outstanding view. I had the Bouillabaisse, and both other guests enjoyed the Bistro Burger. The ambiance was delightful, the service impeccable, and the noise levels non-existent, except for the pleasant sound of the falls. My guests were visiting from Clearwater, FL, and were so impressed by the Greenville area they are considering relocating.

I was very impressed with the service once I sat down. However, I was on a first date, and I requested specific drinks to be on the table when we arrived. That did not happen, but the server was quick to correct. Not sure who dropped the ball on that one. The music in the park was a little loud and distracting as I was trying to talk to my date and listen to her. I really like the menu and options. My hash bowl was almost perfect. It was just too salty and over-seasoned. However, they cooked the steak perfectly how I ordered it.

I ordered the benedict and it was awful. The eggs were hard boiled instead of poached, the hollandaise was cold and the croissant was hard. I showed the eggs to my waiter who apologized but didn't offer to do anything about it or take it off my bill. My friends chicken salad was fine but the croissant hers was on was also hard and generally unpleasant. We had a nice view of the falls for people watching outside so that was nice, but otherwise overall very disappointing and not likely to go back anytime soon.
