We went for restaurant week and the food was amazing! We had the pork belly appetizer (which could've been a meal on its own), the shrimp and grits entree, the duck entree, and cheesecake dessert. Everything was so delicious! Even the couple next to us started raving about it and telling us what to order when we were seated and they did not disappoint us. The happy hour is really great and lasts until 8pm! $5 wine that was tasty! The service was timely, polite, and more than accommodating. I almost don't want to tell anyone how good it was because it's hard enough to get a reservation! But now I see why. It was also a beautiful ambiance and very romantic.

Ok, After the last 2 years of Restaurant Weeks I have to say it has lost it's way! It seems that all the restaurants are treating it as a profit making bonanza instead of the original purpose of bringing in customers at a slow time of year and showing off the best of there offerings. Now they all seem to provide reduced portion menus at a higher price than you could order off the regular menu and this is not to mention the lack of service to the point you just feel like a herded cattle. Well, Parq was no exception to this practice. First, one of the strangest rules we've heard, they informed us that if one person wanted to order off the Restaurant Week menu then all of the party had to - they would not allow some people to order off the regular menu and some off the RW menu. We asked why and they just replied that's what management told us. We ended up ordering off regular menu and it cost less. The food was mediocre at best, service was not good. The space created for this restaurant is the only redeeming feature. I guess I didn't have high expectations, my experience with these "Club" restaurants have always been disappointing. They are much more concerned about the look and feel than the actual food.

Celebrated my milestone birthday with a group of friends on a Friday night. This recently opened hot spot lived up to my expectations! The mostly Asian influenced menu was great and the ambiance was unique and modern. The staff were friendly, fast and attentive and made our night even more wonderful! We ventured into the dance club which is part of Parq after dinner to finish off our night and had a wonderful time there as well.

Our experience was not so bad. There were excellent things as well as strange not-so-fine dining things during our dinner. The server first off was excellent, and we were told he was in training after we had already ordered a few things. We would have never known he wasn't already trained. I wish I remembered his name:/ There was a group of woman who were all standing speaking to what seemed to be a manager, they were loud for a dining room. The lighting was blue, which is not a color that makes you want to eat, I just found that to be ignorant on a sense. The butternut squash soup was so delicious and silky/ velvety. My boyfriend and I both agree. The tartare was good but so big, a bit too much meat. The Buratta was my favorite the caprese salad Buratta:) best I've had in a while. Then we ordered short ribs slow cooked. So yum, buuuut a tad tad dryer than I like. Creamy potato purée underneathe is also very enjoyable both texturally and of flavor. I just didn't like the atmosphere to be honest.

Really cool vibe and great food. Loved the combination of lights and exposed brick. Server was very accommodating. Super fun ladies room with private lounge area that connects to the bar, in case you want to escape and down one quickly.

Me and a group of 6 came here and had a blast, there was 1 hiccup but I can understand why, we had dinner come out to us on a busy night. 1 of our friends literally received there food as the rest of the 5 of us were literally finishing our dinner. The manager came by and ended up comping us for that dinner meal and gave us a bottle of champagne. It's understandable as the place is a bit overwhelmed and still trying to figure things out.

3 1/2 stars Great service from all staff, including hostess, promoter, and wait staff. We got the opportunity to get a little tour of what has already been renovated to become what is now Parq (and I come from the good old days of On Broadway). It looks nice, wish there was more (which will be in about a year when downstairs opens up again, hopefully). Looks like small dance floor space, and very pricey bottle service options. Food was good but nothing amazing, especially for the price point. My group had the following drinks/food: - Lobster Roll (appetizer): The lobster filling came in small jar, w/ 6 small mini brioches. Lobster could have had more, I felt like it was lacking something? - 24 hour Short Rib (main course): Probably the best dish out of the entire group. A bit on the salty side, which the mushrooms and potatoes helped subside. - Crispy Bass (main course): Skin should have been crispier. Cousin didn't like the leeks that it came with. - Brown Butter Shrimp (main course): Shrimp had tons of flavor, but that's all I could account for. My cousin seemed to enjoy it. - Salmon (main course): It was salmon. Nothing to tell me that I want to order it next time. - Fall Fashion (drink): It was supposed to be like a traditional old fashion with a twist - pumpkin spices. Too sweet though, should have had more kick.

The food was so good! Everything we tried was full of flavor! From appetizers to dessert. They also had some very unique cocktails, I ordered an apple martini with caramel drizzled on the glass and it was amazing. Our service was great as well! I couldn't think of a negative thing to say. But it is important to note that we went on a Tuesday so the place was empty. The nightclub was not open, may be a bit of a different vibe on a weekend, I'd love to go back when the club is open, would be a perfect place out on the weekend with a big group.

Brand new restaurant in the heart of San Diego Gaslamp district. They have many creative dishes that come in a small mason jar, that are full of flavor. Very tall ceilings and skylights. Felt like is was in central park NY.
