Chef Angelo Romano’s Paradiso restaurant exemplifies excellence. I initially felt a sense of hospitality on the phone when making a reservation; that hospitality was reinforced throughout the evening by the genuine warmth and confidence of the chef and staff. They are on top of their game and it shows.
The menu is a superlative exploration of the chef's Italian Riviera background. It relies heavily on locally caught seafood and light (almost simplistic) compositions that skillfully accent the flavors of the high quality ingredients…
Paradiso absolutely earned its stars. Not because of the meticulously clean and organized restaurant, nor the expert service, or even the amazing food and drink.
It is because all these aspects meshed together seamlessly, effortlessly and impeccably. Whereas some restaurants try to impress, Paradiso is simply impressive

Exceptional restaurant. There are numerous Italian restaurants in the area that offer good food and service, but Paradiso serves delicious food, a couple of cuts above the more run-of-the-mill Italian restaurants mentioned above. The presentation equals the quality of the food, as does the service. Ambience is very nice too. It's pricey, however, for Italian food.

One of the best meals in South Florida… Not to be missed. Order the tableside salted Branzino and the grilled octopus, both are outstanding. Every pasta was homemade and amazing. They accommodated some of the special dietary restrictions I have without hesitation. They do have gluten-free pasta… but their fish and entrées outside of pasta are all so outstanding, You don’t have to think I am restaurant. We will definitely be going back here! It is our new family favorite.

Very nice dinner...being a small eater, I had a half order of a delicious pasta, plus the beet salad. Excellent. One companion raved about his stuffed pasta. Another had the veal chop and it was so large, I wondered if he could finish it. (He did!) Very nice evening.

Service is non-existent. Got there at 7pm. Didn't see a waiter until 7.20m Didnt see food until 8.40! And food order was wrong and incomplete. Then didnt see a waiter until I tried to get a check. Had to walk around to get our check. Owner said that waiting for food is normal!! Lack of service and mgmt rudeness made good food and the evening an awful experience. And we were not the only table with the same experiences. STAY AWAY

We arrived at 7:25 for our 7:30 reservation and we were told that it would be 10 minutes and to wait in the bar. 20 minutes later when no one appeared to offer to take our drink orders we asked again about our table and were told it would just be another few minutes. Eventually we were seated 45 minutes later but we were not given water bread or menus. We asked to speak with the owner who came out in a huff and told us we were lucky to have a reservation and we should go back to our seats and enjoy his fine food or we should leave. No explanation, no apology just arrogance on behalf of the owner. Needless to say we left the restaurant and will never return. We strolled down the street and had an outstanding meal at Rustico Ristorante.

My husband and I dined with another couple on Saturday it was our first time,our friends had eaten here before. The service was fine,we were promptly seated, and drink orders taken. I ordered a soft shell crab app for $18 very tasty, but too expensive. My husband had a salad for $16, again nice,but nothing special, expensive. My entree was a seared duck breast and duck leg that I thought was outstanding, for $38, a little on the high side,but well worth it. When it first came it was too well done, so they replaced it. When the bill came, there were at least two charges of $36 each that were not ordered.Our host said EVERY TIME he eats there this happens,obviously NOT mistakes. DO NOT GO!Restaurant was less than half full.

Food was great as wassthe ambiance. We were there for special dinner. The service was like they were untrained. servers were nice but slow, and unfocused. First course took almost an hour to get. Second course was another hour. Still the food was so good, the service did not lessen the experience.

The food was excellent, the wine list is extensive, albeit expensive. Difficult to find a wine for less than $50.
The problem was the service. On arriving for our 7:30 reservation on Saturday, we were told they were running late, and they had a few very large parties, which turned out to include a large party of over 40 people who were very noisy. Ultimately we were seated in a booth in the same room with this group. We had to seek out a waitperson and ask repeatedly for a menu (they said they were short of them). It took over 1/2 hour to get water, bread, and finally our wine.
After that, we again sought a waitperson to order, expecting that the kitchen was going to be overwhelmed by the large group.

as usual our open table reccommendations are first class BUT this 1 in particular was a little on the expensive side taking away the overall good feeling. waiter `s special was the way we went but he never told us the prices....after all 2 tiny salads of mozzarrella/tomatoes $44 and my wifes rissotto plate while delicious was $58

I've never had a bad meal here and this time did not disappoint. I had Bronzini for the first time and it was fabulous! Presentation was amazing as it comes in a thick crust of salt which the server has to chip off with a mallet. Very interesting and very yummy :)
Dessert is EXCEPTIONAL!!!
Robin, our server was very knowledgeable and I went with his recommendations.
