Chef Angelo Romano’s Paradiso restaurant exemplifies excellence. I initially felt a sense of hospitality on the phone when making a reservation; that hospitality was reinforced throughout the evening by the genuine warmth and confidence of the chef and staff. They are on top of their game and it shows.
The menu is a superlative exploration of the chef's Italian Riviera background. It relies heavily on locally caught seafood and light (almost simplistic) compositions that skillfully accent the flavors of the high quality ingredients…
Paradiso absolutely earned its stars. Not because of the meticulously clean and organized restaurant, nor the expert service, or even the amazing food and drink.
It is because all these aspects meshed together seamlessly, effortlessly and impeccably. Whereas some restaurants try to impress, Paradiso is simply impressive
Risotto, Capesanti, Limone e Asparagi
Sea Scallops, Citrus, Asparagus Risotto
The Classic—Lady Fingers, Espresso, Mascarpone Cheese
Fettuccine pasta, Veal Meat sauce
Our experience at Paradiso was outstanding. Not enough stars to rate it. The ambiance was great. The service was perfect and the food was absolutely amazing. It was definitely our best dining experience from our 2 weeks in Lake Worth. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We have been there several times never had service so poor even though it was a holiday should never have been neglected like we were. Ordered wine from the wine list didn’t have.
ordered another bottle they recommended and went to order the second bottle and they didn’t have it.
Overpriced and the service polite but it was veeery slow
Everything was good. Was somewhat loud inside but quiet outside.
really bad service had to wait 15 minutes for a menu i guess they were short on staff
took for ever to order never asked if we need anything or a second drink never going back
This was a Birthday dinner.
The restaurant is gorgeous, our bartender was fabulous however, even though our server was delightful, it took forever to get waited on. We felt badly for her as she was really hustling around the entire dining room and with a kind manner. Management should have more servers. Otherwise a very enjoyable evening!
Excellent food and service. Angelo personally asks about your dinner experience.
Best restaurant around...
A wonderful evening with excellent food!
Delicious food. Lovely atmosphere. Great cocktails!
Your food is outstanding! However pricey! Service was okay!!
A hidden gem that my family was not aware of and live in West Palm Beach. Staff and ownership were great with finding us indoor seating that was safe. The food was excellent! We will be back.
Outstanding as always!!!
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner for six outdoors at Paradiso. Angelo was quite accommodating.
My husband and I had an amazing meal. We started with Zucchini Blossoms, and Mussels, I had pasta with freshly shaved white truffles. My husband had pistachio crusted Branzino. Dessert was chocolate soufflé. They recommended a fabulous bottle of wine to compliment our meal. It was perfect
Wow...the restaurant was terrific. We sat outside and the wait staff was attentive to us right away. When the waiter came over, he was charming and knowledgeable about the menu and the history of the restaurant. He told us he has been working at Paradiso for over 20 years. My husband and our friend ordered the octopus as an appetizer. They were tender and mouth-watering, for their entree, the pistachio-crusted Colorado lamb chops, which were perfectly seasoned and delicious. I had the salmon with crab, it was the best tasting salmon I have ever had. Our other friend had the Dorado special. The fish was simply prepared but it had a wonderful flavor to make it worthy of a "special".
For dessert, we shared the pistachio cake with pistachio ice cream and the warm apple strudel which were both decadent and delicious! We are so happy to have found a restaurant where the food, atmosphere, and staff are all excellent!
Great food servers just need to communicate to one another
We came from New Jersey on vacation to palm beach and picked this place to have a nice dinner for 2. We couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Everyone works together as a team and the bartender even came to our table to make specials drinks based off of what we told her we liked. Highly recommend.
Wow, every bite was delicious. We split a Cesar salad, appetizer portion of pasta, veal chop and desert. It was expensive, but for a special occasion it is worth the splurge. Service was great and ambiance was romantic. We will be back.
This was a beautiful evening. Open table recommended this restaurant and it was a gem!
The food was excellent service as well. So glad we found this beautiful restaurant.
3rd time within the last few months we ate here. Each time was terrific. Food is done to perfection. Would have liked something other than their house vegetable as an accompaniment to the excellent Orata. Risotto? Definitely pricey but truly excellent food.
great spot for a special event inside outside or in the bar area. beautifully situated and appointed with cheer and charm, it is a wonderful place to enjoy friendships or a special date!! Paradiso has a diverse and compelling menu and the food is very good!!
The restaurant was clean and quiet. The service was satisfactory. Outdoor seating was not set up. I was expecting to enjoy my dining experience outdoors.
Best Italian restaurant in Palm Beach County
Such a cool spot. Perfect date night. Ambiance is unparalleled! Beautiful outside seating and indoor aesthetic. HIGHLY recommend.
Service and food made it a very nice 93rd birthday.
Paradiso is a fabulous restaurant. From start to finish the experience was wonderful. The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
Went to our favorite Italian restaurant to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary amidst all the COVID 19 turmoil, and our friends at Paradiso helped make the evening special for us. Was a very quiet night, even though it was Father’s Day, but as usual the food was fantastic and service very attentive. The restaurant is observing all the necessary protocols with masks and tables set up for social distancing. They presented us with a gratis tiramisu, appropriately decorated. Thanks for a memorable night—we’ll see you soon.
Food is great. The ambience is wonderful: beautiful dining area, gentle music.
The restaurant was a bit understaffed when I visited however. It took too long to get service.
Fine Dining In Lake Worth. Generous drinks, superlative food, attentive service, varied menu, a place for foodies and gourmets. From the moment we walked in we were treated well. The varied menu offered many choices. Purely by chance we came early enough to enjoy a prix fixe special with many add-ons on the house.
The pricing here is not for the faint of heart. BUT, you get what you pay for. And it was well worth it.
The best Italian food in the USA!! Love Angelo and his staff. Always delicious and always wonderful to be welcomed like family!
We had a very nice dinner with friends on a Sunday evening. We were surprised that there were only three tables occupied in the room we were in. We all ordered the veal chop medium rare and it was excellent. Service was good but, with only three tables occupied and at these prices I would have expected that the servers would be more attentive and know who was to receive the dishes ordered. Neither the salads nor the desserts were given out correctly and when a correction was made it was done by picking up a plate and reaching in front of the guest to move it to the next seat. Main courses were all the same so they had no chance to mix them up, although when ordering and we were asked how we wanted them done, one of us responded: "as she chef best prepares it." The response was the chef will make it any way you like it.
In short, this is a great restaurant but the servers could use some polish.
Wonderful Italian restaurant in Lake Worth.
We had an exceptionally good dinner. The food was delicious and the service top notch. We highly recommend the restaurant and we will return.
This is my favorite restaurant. Love the food and the service. There’s a great early bird all year long and even at regular hours it’s still great.
Excellent food and service!
A little loud in the back dining room!
Angelo has been providing great food and service for nearly 20 years. Even on Valentines Day weekend the food and service were perfect on aa very busy and somewhat noisy night. Chestnut and Fig Risotto was divine. As always Luis was don the ball.
When I give this restaurant 3 stars having read such outstanding reviews, please note I do not do so lightly. I will start off by saying that it was Valentine’s Day and generally speaking one of the worst days of the year to go out for dinner. I was honestly surprised to have even gotten a reservation on such short notice., I had only made it on Wednesday since we were going to be in town for the weekend. That said, the staff made an effort to accommodate us as quickly as possible, and the hostess was very apologetic, we waited about 30 minutes. While at the bar, I tried to get a drink but was never able to get the bartender’s attention. The restaurant was definitely low on staff, maybe people called in sick, who knows? Point is, the service was slow, staff overwhelmed and the a/c wasn’t working. Since we had been waiting for a while we had read and re-read the menu several times and were ready to order, but needed to wait for The Captain to take our order. While we were waiting, I had a Negroni which was tasty. Captain took about another 1/2 hour to come over despite our Captain! Captain! calls he kept waving us down. So, Captain finally rushes over, takes our order. Had a second Negroni while we waited. Appetizer came out fairly quickly, we had the Fiori di Zucchini which was really good. They split it and put it in two plates for us which was a nice touch. About another 20-25 minutes later we had the LOMBATINE DI AGNELLO as our entree, which was $62 not $56 as stated online. We had to send it back because it was served rare. Second time around it was good. Not $62 good though, and with dessert and tip, our bill was $200 and herein my disappointment. My husband and I love dining out, and have no gripes about paying top dollar for a fine meal and dining experience. Unfortunately, Paradiso fell very short of our expectations on both counts. My only regret was missing out on what other diners raved about. Perhaps my mistake was expecting this on Valentine’s Day.
Food is always very good.
Tonight though the service was obviously overwhelmed.
Even heard the matre d telling the servers “no coffee - don’t serve coffee - we’re too busy”.
Kind of put a damper on a valentines evening dinner.
