Wonderful seafood. Took my 1/2 meal home for another meal the next day. Great value. 1/2 price wine bottles that night as well.
Food is always excellent, people are always friendly. Service is always prompt. Place is always busy, which to me is an indicator of a good place.
Celebrating a special birthday and Pappas comes through again! The crab cakes were amazing as always and the service was the perfect blend of attention and giving us time to chat. Plus the birthday girl got a special treat!
If you want the best crab cake in Maryland, Pappas is the best place to go. It comes with two sides and costs $19.99.
The service was excellent and our waiter, O'Neill was wonderful. The food was very good and we will be back again.
Crab cakes were great as usual. DJ our waiter
Was terrific. He was very attentive. He has a great personality and added that extra
Touch to the special occasion. Pappas’s
Is lucky to have him. He reminds me of the waiters that are on the big cruise liners
All of the food was fantastic, especially the crab cakes. The waiter was friendly and attentive, bringing drink refills quickly. The desserts were delicious with generous portions. It was a wonderful dining experience, and we will return.
. Love the cucumbers and bread to start off our meal. I had a delicious crab melt and my husband enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend
It was a great meal, great service and nice ambiance.
I eat at Pappas often because of the great crab cakes; however, the veggies need work. Please put more effort into your side dishes. My experience eating the veggies has been uneventful. Please work on infusing more flavor in the veggies.
We went for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The lunch special is a great way to enjoy their famous crab cakes and they’re yummy cream of crab soup. The service was efficient and personable. Our glasses were always kept for, which for a water drinker like myself is important.
As always the food was outstanding the service first class an all around fantastic Restaurant to visit.
Crab cakes are the best next to the value and the variety of options available on the menu.
Delicious as always!
I'm no Oprah but I give it a 2 thumbs up 😁
Had great service and okay meal.... usually, I love the crab cakes. This visit, way, way too much mayo- very disappointed. Other meals okay.
Make sure you make reservation without one forget it. The front service staff was rude and very unaccommodating. The service/our waitress was outstanding! The food mediocre and very over priced. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. They nickel and dime everything including drink refills.
The waiter was excellent, great menu selections, the food was hot and delicious, and the atmosphere was good for conversation.
Fourth or fifth visit-disappointed in service. Very impersonal, so rushed the staff hardly finished a sentence before they flew to another task. I knew you were busy, so cut down on the number of fly-by stops- one or two is fine. And please, there are other vegetables beside broccoli and corn. From now on I'll stick with your excellent Cole slaw
As always, the service and the food were fantastic. we got our usual cup of Maryland crab soup with an entree of crab cake, baked potato and coleslaw. Delicious! We had a reservation for 6 pm and were seated promptly.
The food was outstanding as usual. The waitress was terrible. I had to speak with two managers to advice of the extreme subpar service my wife and I Recieved. I will continue to go there but I will never have the same waitress.
The crabcakes were great, of course. Great service, too.
The crab cakes have lost their taste. They need to add more seasoning to bring out the flavor. Mashed potatoes were cold and hard.
The first time we have been disappointed with a meal at Pappas. We usually order crab cakes which have always been exceptional however, the crab cakes on this recent visit were noticeably smaller than usual and were very dry. Additionally, the entire dinner was barely warm when served.
We drive about 45 minutes to get to this Pappas location and for the first time we drove home disappointed.
Maybe it is because of how much people hyped this place up to me but I wasn’t super impressed. They were not the best crab cakes I’ve ever had, in fact the crab was strangely fishy smelling and chewy. Maybe mine was just over cooked a bit... I’d be willing to try them again. We were not fans of the bread or the fries. The asparagus were too large, tough, and under seasoned. The service was alright... but again it was nothing so amazing that I would rant and rave about how amazing this place is like so many people have to me. We will give it another shot... maybe at the Parkville location... but I’m in no rush.
The decor is outdated but the food was delicious! One of our party has Celiac, and they have a gluten-free menu and take care in food prep not to cross-contaminate. We had the prime rib, lemon scallops, and crab cakes, and all were delicious!!! We'll return soon.
The best crab cakes I've had in a while. Service was top notch and friendly. Looking forward to going again.
We had a wonderful experience!
The food was delicious and our waiter, Fez, did a fantastic job!
This restaurant is on my "never again" list. The dining atmosphere was that of being in a warehouse with tables set-up. The tables were too close together. When the man seated at the table behind me got up to go to the restroom, his chair banged me in the back. My husband's salmon was not fully cooked and was mushy. The mashed potatoes were from a box. I ordered the imperial carb which was okay. I must admit I ordered a crab cake to go, and that was delicious. If I want another crab cake, I will just go to the carry out.
The crab cakes are just about the best we have ever had. Great service too. Our biggest complaint is the unisex restroom. For a restaurant this size, one would think there would be better facilities.
Pappas a great neighborhood place with indoor dinner sports bar and carry out . Great menu and service, I’ll be back
Excellent food and value. Great service. Family feel. Comfortable and satisfying. Cleaning and decor could use some attention. Overall, the meal was worth the travel. Definitely recommend. A wonderful experience.
They were seriously off this time. My husband and I dine here regularly. First we had to wait 15 minutes for a table with a confirmed reservation. Service was irregular. Soups were good salads were sad. Entrees were excellent as always. Getting dessert and check was very slow. Hopefully just an off night.
Ran out of filets and i was sad .. and mashed potatoes .. it was valentines day but still. Crabcakes were bomb though
We had great time. Crab cakes were the best I ever had and service was good. We really enjoyed the eveing and will definitely go again for more seafood.
Food is great but not sure I would go again on Valntines Day or any other occasion when they would be exceptionally busy. Portions were smaller and some things slightly overcooked and dry. Other than that still exceptional crab cakes.
Pappas is an established standard for excellence in dining in a friendly local neighborhood atmosphere. I have been going to Pappas for over 20 years. I love the white table cloths, attentive servers and excellent menu. The crab cakes can not be beat.
First time there. Valentines dinner with my wife. We had a great time. Seated immediately. Service was friendly, informative, and accurate. Great seafood and vegetables were fresh. Would recommend!!
Pappas Seafood restaurant Awesome, the food is appealing, when it is served it's hot & delicious.
The waiters cordially great you with a smile to take your order.
Pappas is my # 1 for Crab Cakes and Seafood Specialities. 😅😄😃🤣😁😀
I had a great time. It was my first time and it came highly recommended from my parents. I would go again.
