For more than 20 years, Paolo’s has been bringing the taste of Italy to Kent. Paul Raftis founded the restaurant after growing up learning to cook along side his mother, Darlene Raftis. He enjoys the open kitchen he can chat with guests as he works. He never tires of hearing "It smells so good in here!" As a marathoner, he is living proof that that you can eat Italian and be healthy. In fact, one of his signature dishes, "Fettucine Paolo" was featured in Runner's World magazine. "It's one of the dishes I developed, it has no cream in it, no butter." It's a delicious pasta dish that utilizes olive oil, garlic, chicken stock, garlic, balsamic vinegar, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, and chicken. So whether it's bruschetta, cioppino, pizza, or spaghetti and meatballs, Paul thanks each of you for choosing to dine here.

    I had friends coming into town and staying the Kent area so looked up good Italian restaurants. Paulo''s had great reviews and did not disappoint. The food and wine along with the staff were amazing, thank you very much

    Paolo's has been our go to for all our special occasions, or even a quick craving. Awesome dishes, each one better than the last one. Prices are reasonable, love the choice of 1/2 or full dish served.

    The food was amazing, the Lasagna is my go to for the over ten years, it’s always full of flavor and crisped delightfully. We also had the Ravioli and again 10/10 wound have again. The Ravioli with marina has a robust flavor and the noodles are perfect size. The Focaccia hero is tasteful and the lunch menu but you can order it at dinner is a nice size portion and very good. Carole I believe was her name who was our waitress and she was a delight. Very friendly, attentive and patient while me made our selections. She has great customer service and would love to have her again at our table.

    Paolo's is a 5-star restaurant located in Kent and is small and easy to miss if you do not know it is there. Located in the same parking lot as McLendon's Hardware store. If you have never been it is a "bucket list" restaurant. Make a reservation even for lunch as you never know. For 30 plus years the food, service and all have been consistently excellent!

    Paolo’s Italian Restaurant is a wonderful place to dine. It’s a small space that seats about 54 people. All the food is hand made there at the sight, and I’ve only been there twice but Chef Paolo is always there. You can tell they plate the dishes and make the food with love & care. I have yet to be dissatisfied with anything I have ordered at Paolo’s.

    Have lived in Kent since 1993. Have been to Paolos so many times that I cannot remember. Always leave with a smile.
