Amazing food. There’s always a 15-30 minute wait even if you have a reservation, however the food makes up for it. Favorite restaurant in the North End.
Love love love this place! Great menu, service, food and prices! We've been living in the North End for over 30 years and this is our "go to" place. Thank you Panza!
Great food. They do it perfectly every time we are there. Always a “go back to!”
As a frequent business traveler, I have been to most Italian restaurants in the North End. Many are tourist traps. Panza is the real deal - the most authentic and best value. Charming ambience, excellent food. Closely resembles the better trattorias I have visited in Italy. Buon appetito!
My favorite spot
We made an 815 reservation. We arrived at 810 and they told us they were only now seating their 630 reservations and it would be at least in an hour maybe two.
Why are they on open table if reservations are not actually taken here?
Great location (North End), awesome food. But they do not manage their reservations well at all. When we arrived, there were many people standing outside (no room inside to wait). Most of us waited over an hour from the time we made the original reservation. Small place, 10 tables or so.. With that being said, it's really great food and once you're seated, great service. Would go again but maybe not on a busy night.
Great place, nothing bad to say about it. Lots of options on the menu for both drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Delicious bread to start. I recommend Panza!
We had s great time! We had a reservation, only waited 5 minutes. Our food was served piping hot! Mussels and a chopped salad to start, then chicken piccata. I had grilled veggies instead of pasta, they were yummy! Everything was perfect. The four stars are due to the noise. Even the wine was excellent!
We had a reservation for 6 at 5pm. They didn’t seem to be ready for us we didn’t get seated until 5:20 and 6 of us had to sit at a table for 4.
Always amazing service and delicious food every time!! Panzas a gem!
Checked in for a 7:45 reservation. Waited at least 30 minutes when people after us were seated. Doorman said I shouldn't have let people wait in the doorway sheltered from the cold in front of me. Ridiculous. Went to Strega because it never disappoints.
Loved this restaurant they were very particular and wouldn’t seat us until the entire party was there but otherwise we have no complaints! Wine was good, food was good and it wasn’t super expensive like a lot of restaurants in the north end!
Really delicious italian food, especially for the price! Absolutely worth the money and the wait (though we had reservations). Seating is a bit tight, but as long as you like who you're with, it's not a problem. House chianti was also quite delicious, and for only $24 for the bottle, you can't beat it.
We had the mussels for an appetizer, a salad which was mostly just lettuce but it was still exactly what I wanted. The lobster ravioli portion was tremendous and the linguine carbonara was outstanding, tons of crispy pancetta. Looking forward to going again!
What a great meal. We had the goat cheese gnocchi with chicken and the Eggplant Parm and both were delicious. The service was great as well I can't wait to go back.
Fabio was a wonderful server
Small dining area with the kitchen close by. Tables are pretty close together so there's not too much privacy - but the experience is worth it. Food was excellent, even for the relatively low prices. There wasn't much of a wait for our food. I will most likely find myself dining here again.
My family member who is visiting from Ireland obviously didn’t tip as high as the miserable waitress was expecting and had the manager come over and call it to everyone’s attention leaving him extremely embarrassed. This left a terrible taste in everyone mouth at the end of the evening. Extremely frustrating behavior. I have visited this restaurant many times but will not return.
First time here even though a frequent traveler through the North End. Didn't have a reservation but took a chance and got a nice little table. Decent wine list and friendly service. The calamari was very tasty and had some nice spicy peppers mixed in. Marinara side was perfect. Bread for table was very nice. We ordered one chicken and one veal parmigiana and were swapping back and forth as it was so good. No leftovers here. Excellent dining experience. #stevensleavin
Love this place so much. It’s become a staple for when people come visit me in Boston. It’s nice, cozy and has a great menu. Very good value for what you pay. Staff is very friendly.
The fold was great and the service was good. My only issue is there’s no real system at the restaurant for checking in for your reservation. Once you get there it’s very small with one tiny doorway with a bunch of people crammed in. You have to find the hostess, who is also serving the entire time, to put your name down. Other than that the food was great and I have no complaints about the service. I just wish there was more organization for checking in and getting a table.
One of my favorite restaurants in the North End! The food was amazing and place felt very cozy. Only issue was we made a reservation for 6pm and weren't seated until almost 6:40. The food was worth the wait and the servers were quick, but we had to rush through to make it to our next plan.
I’ve been to Panza (over 10 times) throughout the years and love their chicken Parmesan. Unfortunately this past time it was not up to par- completely overlooked- chicken was extremely tough and stringy. It was hard to chew. The flavor was still great. I do love their homemade fresh tomato sauce. I also tried the salad for my app and it was literally just mixed greens with a vinaigrette-too basic- it would have been nice to at least have some red onions or fresh tomatoes on it. Service was okay but this is also a more casual style restaurant so that is expected.
Great dinner- it was tight at a table for 6 - but cozy. That is what we were looking for-it was an authentic Italian experience- Great night
Great Food and service!!
Overall, pretty underwhelmed. Food was OK, atmosphere was OK, service was terrible. I’m sorry waiter, did we inconvenience you by making reservations and actually showing up to have dinner? A million other Italian restaurants in the area....wish we were advised to try literally any one of them instead. Would not return.
Small place with excellent food. Terrific Baked Ziti with excellent sauce. Great service of the friendly/bustling style more than “fine dining” style, which we were fine with.
We went on a busy night. Had reservations for 7:15 and didn’t get seated until 7:45. Had to wait outside which is worth noting if cold or rainy.
Overall, definitely recommend for the great food and friendly service. Just make reservations and be prepared to possibly wait just a bit.
Panza has been a favorite of ours for years. Their food and value are tops...especially their marinara!
If you go in with a party of less than 3-4 you’ll be sitting with the people next to you. Small and cramped place. Food was ok. Service was good. I wouldn’t go back.
We had a reservation and there was no table available. Also, for a date night I thought tables were a little too close from each other (literally 2in apart) - which made us feel like we were having a double date with the table next to ours.
I get that the restaurant is small, that is why I made a reservation and specified that it was a date, to maybe get the independent tables- my strategy still didn’t work.
Food was good and price was fair.
This is probably my firth time dining at Panxa, and the food was amazing as always. We did have a little extra wait even with a reservation, but the host took care of us as soon as he could. Once we sat down, our food came so quickly and was top-notch. Still a favorite!
Absolutely an amazing recommendation from a friend. No wait, yet there was a line for another restaurant across the street. Have been to both and this far exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend. Trust the recommendations from the staff also!
I have been a customer in the Nirth End for ever 50 years and love it. When I have friends here I always go to Panza and then to mikes pastry. What a terrific duo.
Great food and service.
Panza will always be in my top 3 favorite restaurants of all time.
Another wonderful meal at Panza. Food was great as was the service. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for service because the process to check in and be seated, even with reservations, is very confusing when the restaurant is busy.
Just awesome! Waiter was fun. Food was delicious. Our new go to.
Probamos los carbonara y fueron una gran decepción. Pero La camarera fue super amable.
We enjoyed our experience. My only complaint is the bathroom situation.
