David exceeded our expectations as a server. The food and drinks were amazing, the atmosphere was perfect for our date night!
The service was outstanding, again! Great food and beverages.
Wonderful meal and excellent, knowledgeable servers. The scallops, red trout and crab stuffed sole were delightful and accompanying risotto superb—the best I’ve ever tasted!!!
The only negative comment I would make, is the hostess was less than friendly and a bit snippy when we asked to be seated at a booth. (The dining room was empty and the tables and booths were all set up for incoming patrons—they began seating at 5 and we arrived at 10 til 5).
The hostess made us wait, seated a couple who walked in at 5 and had 5:15 reservations, and then asked us again what our reservation name was under—using a very haughty tone!! Set a bad start for our fun IRT evening!!!
Will say though that the serving staff’s cheerful helpfulness made up for her attitude. They asked if we were under time constraints and made sure we were out of the restaurant in perfect time for the play!!! Will go back!!
Food was good service was great! We had 9 people and we all had a great time
Excellent fish meal. Excellent service. After show meal
This is my favorite place to dine! Everyone is amazing, and the servers remember us and the details of our life when we come back. That means a lot to me! The food is amazing and fresh! You can't go wrong here!
Great menu and variety !!! Great for groups we had 10 people and everyone was happy !!
The staff was phenomenal. Great customer service, exquisite food, and ambiance. We had a great experience! I would definitely recommend.
Wonderful meal and service
Palomino's rarely disappoints, but Saturday's experience was the best ever. The food was great and the service was exceptional. I enjoyed the asiago scallops with risotto (fantastic) but the highlight was the flatbread appetizer with numerous toppings, including warm roasted garlic cloves. Can't wait to go back.
We were there for a family dinner, and it was a great experience. The staff is very helpful.
Food was first rate and filling. Good place to go to the theatre before and after.
The staff was fabulous!! I ordered the hot Italian pizza & it had to much of an earthy taste. BUT, my Sazarec and friends Rob Roy were on point! He ordered the salmon and said it was good.
Very pleased with all aspects of this dining experience. I have worked the service industry in both casual and semi-formal restaurants, and both the fare and service was above my expectations. I will be venturing back to Palomino. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
Tasty and enjoyable evening. Glad to hear that in the future we can pre-order paella.
We had a fantastic family meal here before seeing a Broadway Show at the Murat. The food was outstanding and so was the service. We will definitely return!
We loved our waiter !! He was great and very explainable to our questions to menu . The food was delish and worth the money , kinda pricey but good for an every once in awhile meal on our budget that is .
We went for my mother’s birthday. She the food was bomb, just awesome and very much worth the price. We felt very special and received a very pleasant, enthusiastic waiter. The entire kitchen staff helped bring plates out and I couldn’t even finish my food. I’m home now eating the rest. ☺️
The restaurant wasn't very busy so it was like having a private room.
The food was delicious. The server recommended I get the 3 entrees for $19 instead of paying for the salad on a ala carte menu. It was a good deal!
Great food and service !
Drinks were expensive though
12.50 per !!
All around great lunch spot! Each in our group of four had a different lunch combo and everyone loved their food from salad to pasta to soup. Nice atmosphere and quiet so we were able to hear each other talk.
Decided to try Palomino because of the paperdelle ragu. It was delicious.
The brunch buffet was all they had available and we were not told that until we were seated. The brunch buffet was also a little overpriced and the food wasn't very good either.
The bacon had a weird taste, the eggs benedict was so bad that I only ate one of the two I got. The muffin was hard and the egg was seasoned too much.
In the past Palomino had always been good, this time I just felt they fell short.
There brunch prior to Colts Game. Service and food excellent/ Very well done
Business with customers
The waitress was sort of snarky. Didn't bring out the soup until the meals arrived and forgot the bread. But the food was excellent.
The restaurant is very beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing and Kurtis was a great server. I was amazed how reasonable the check was considering we had a couple of glasses of wine each. The Portabello Mushroom was a great starter. We will definitely be going back. A true Indy gem.
We really enjoyed our meal. And the service was awesome too!
Great food, server was excellent, well timed...didn't feel rushed or that service was slow. We'll be back!
Service was slow and inconsistent.
Food was of Applebee’s quality
Every time we come here, every single detail is important to the staff, and the food is incredible! Get the prime rib...it's extraordinary!
Our service seemed rushed as our entrees arrived before we had finish our soup and salad.
It was fine overall but took a while to get water refills as well as the server asking if everything was ok.
very good food, service was prompt, knowledgeable, and polite. Enjoyed the meal very much.
colts game downtown, not enough servers, couldn't find my open table reservation, took 40 minutes to get a drink and appetizer, not impressive at all
Food was fine although it seems the menu is not what it used to be. Meals took a LONG time to come out. Service was mediocre.
Food was great as always. Service incredibly poor throughout. Spending $270+ for 4 people, one would expect at least a marginal level of service. We have been there countless times over the years. I doubt we will be back if this lack of service is now typical. Very disappointing.
I first dined at Palomino a dozen years ago and enjoyed it then so much that I made mental note to return if my travels took me to Indy. This summer we took a short family vacation, so I made a Saturday afternoon lunch reservation. My wife, stepson, and I all have slightly different tastes, and our friendly and knowledgeable waiter guided us through the varied and tempting menu. We ate well, and my family was able to see why I found Palomino memorable.
Our server Haley was outstanding and very attentive. There are two Haleys so I can only speak to this Haley (Brown hair ponytail).
My wife and I ate here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. Service and food were both perfect.
