I love this restaurant and look forward to returning often in the months ahead! The outdoor seating is especially nice and the shrimp and grits entree is the absolute best ever...
Another wonderful meal at PVFC. They never disappoint!
Great food and great service. Was seated right at reservation time. Food very reasonably priced and excellent quality. My favorite seafood restaurant in the area
Delicious as usual. My 2 complaints are lack of parking and the acoustics are bad. Otherwise it’s a gem.
The food is terrific. Flounder was catch of the day and it was melt-in-your-mouth perfect. It gets noisy when it’s full, so don’t come expecting quiet conversation.
The menu had significant variety, and the food was excellent.
Love it our go to place
Our group was visiting from NC. We ask 2 deferent people about great place to eat seafood in a casual atmosphere, both recommended Palm Valley. The service was great while we waited for our table, we had drinks. Once we were sat, our server went above and beyond by explaining each entree and their specials. We sat inside, sine it was a cold evening. I sure wish I loved closer or there was one in Charlott, NC. GO GIVE THEM A TRY!!!
Wonderful dining experience. Food was outstanding, service was also superb, and cost was very reasonable for the overall quality of the evening. Strongly recommend this place for any event.
We had a 8:15 reservation and were not seated ubtil almost 9 pm We ordered oysters which came reasonable prompt. In addition we ordered fish sandwiches which took over 30 minites with the explanation they had to be breaded by hand!! They were good but I would advise anyone to go early and be prepared to wait
Menu items sounded very interesting and inviting, but execution did not live up to expectations. Calamari in salad was over-cooked and tough. Special crab benedict's crab had a strong fishy taste that was off-putting, like the crab was not fresh. I was entertaining an out of town foodie friend and picked this restaurant as a good example of local cuisine with an interesting location, not anything like the area she was from. Maybe next time it will be better!
Service was fantastic. Good great Fried clams were amazing. Just like back in New England
Great waitstaff, friendly atmosphere
Best food on the planet
Our third year vacationing in the area, and all four of us agree that this is our favorite restaurant in the Ponte Vedra region. They not only have a great seafood selection, but what sets them apart is their preparation. They never fail to use the best methods, sauces and unique pairings to bring out the best of the fish without obscuring its delicate taste. And it’s location on the Intercostal adds to the ambience.
My wife has celiac disease and her food must be strictly gluten free. Not only was the staff extremely knowledgeable, but the selection available was both excellent and very tasty. This will definitely be a place where we come back often.
great food, great service...We like to come beofre the concerts at Ponte Vedra Music hall.
Fantastic fish tacos! The Groshells run great restaurants. Server was a little off her game, but not a big deal. hidden away behind Sawgrass. Very beautiful location! totally recommend!
You can never get a bad meal @ Palm Valley Fish Camp. The food is always delicious. its a place you can always depend to get a good meal.
Food was amazing! You must try their specialty Blackened Mahi-- to die for. The beet salad was fresh and delicious as was the trout! Service was great. Very lively...we went at 8:15pm on a Monday and the place was packed, and for good reason!!
I am from New York . We frequent or second home in Ponte Vedra and every time we do , Palm Balley Fish Camp is a dinner out we have never missed! The atmosphere is chill, the service is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything my family and I have had has been delicious. Great place
Saw the great reviews so gave it a try. Parking is tight but they have complementary valet so it was no problem. Crowded, but noise level was moderate. My wife had Cerviche for starter and Shrimp & Grits for the entrée and she loved them both. I tried both and loved the shrimp & grits but thought the Cerviche was ok, nothing wrong, just not my fav. I had the grilled octopus w white bean salad for starter and loved it, I will get this again and again in the future. My entrée was seared yellow fin tuna. The tuna pieces were large, larger than same dish in any other restaurant, but done just right with a delicious sauce on the side. Also had a salad on the plate. If I order again, I would not get the octopus and the tuna at the same visit since both come with salads on the plate which was probably too much salad. The ambiance and general feel of the place is really great. Has a nice local feel, but the service was excellent and the food terrific overall. Moved to St Augustine less than a year ago from NJ, been trying different restaurants between St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra Bch, and Palm Valley Fish Camp is probably in our top 3 or 4. Our 2 starters, 2 entrees, and 4 glasses of wine total $100. Reasonably priced for quality visit. Will definitely come back many times.
Excellent food well prepared and presented, great attentive service and very reasonable prices
Always a great place!
Our first visit, loved the atmosphere, food was excellent. Stephen was the best, five star!
Shared the Low Boil, which was a delightful and delicious experience. So much food! Definitely will order again. Steven is awesome!
A very nice experience. Make sure you call far enough for prime time dinner a arrangements, it’s popular and fills up quick. Great food.
As always, we enjoyed every moment!
Great to sit outside and enjoy fresh seafood. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Note. Only beer and wine
had a reservation for five at two - were told the previous party had paid and were finishing up - 15 minutes we were still not seated though the middle of the restaurant had 4 - 6 open tables - had to ask to be seated there and were - frustrated that I had to manage my own reservation - Yikes!
Met another couple for dinner. It’s good to see that the fish camps share consistent good dining. Although this one was smaller than Julington creek, it was a little more intimate and loved the deck on the intracoastal.
Entertaining friends in from the Midwest - everyone loved the food and atmosphere - one of them - Dick Leinenkugel wished you had some Leinnie Shandy on tap but loved everything about the place!!
So good we went 2 nights in a row
As always one of my favorite restaurants in the area excellent food excellent service.
Never disappointed...love to eat here for food, service, and ambiance.
Outstanding food and service
Excellent food and service priced right. Sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends.
Food was excellent, service was friendly and professional. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the lovely view. I especially appreciate their willingness to accommodate my gluten free dietary requirement. Our server was knowledgeable about Celiac disease.
Palm Valley Fish Camp is one of our favorite area restaurants...and normally, we are more than happy. This time, however, while the special tasted good, it wasn't up to their typical specials and was very pricey for what we got.
