I was extremely disappointed with the quality of food served! The ‘cakes’ were not great at all. In fact I did not eat two of them.

Very stylish yet not too formal. Service was superb. Food was delicious and the piano player did a great job of keeping the atmosphere relaxed and yet buzzing.

The food was good but was disappointed by the inaccurate information given. I called on the the Saturday to confirm my Sunday booking and also to ensure they knew it was my wife's birthday. The lady on the phone said they were aware and a dessert with happy birthday written on it would be presented to her. She also said they would be live music from a piano player who would sing her happy birthday. There was nobody playing on the evening we were there suffice to say the happy birthday didn't take place and the dessert was absolutely horrid.

Afternoon tea experience was outstanding!! Great food especially the cakes!! Made my experience better by giving me a cake to celebrate my birthday. Staff very attentive and informative of the teas. The room was lovely excellent decor and made to feel special. Thankyou we will be returning.

We both enjoyed the whole experience at The Palm Court. The service was outstanding: unobtrusive, considerate and very polite staff. The food was both well-presented and full of flavours. The entertainment provided by a pianist and accompanying musician was very relaxing, blending in with the ambience of the opalescence of the décor and general environment! We concluded the evening by the comment that we would certainly be returning!

Beautiful restaurant and excellent food but given it's a 5 star hotel the service could have been a little more on the ball. Wine came after starters and wasn't repoured promptly. Also no offer of tea or coffee after desert. Not a problem I would site for most places but most places aren't within a 5 star hotel.
