Palisades delivered as usual. had an international business friend in town and thought this would provide a solid experience for him and our party. Michael our server was solid professional and food was excellent. Would recommend highly.
The food just seems to have gone downhill. We had halibut and it was over cooked (a bit rubbery). It still tasted good though. The teriyaki tenderloins were good but we don’t like cream cheese (the tenderloins sit on a cream cheese piece of nori wrapped rice). My daughter said her steak was tasteless and that the ones we cook at home are better. Also the veggies were unevenly cooked. Some carrots were perfect others were raw. The mashed potatoes though were amazing. We’ve been going off and on the Palisade’s for 20 years or so. We’d go back for brunch but not for dinner (this was a dinner review).
Chose Palisade for meeting with a friend for brunch, hoping for a special experience, good food, and quality service. The staff was cordial but somewhat absent when we needed them—glasses of water, juice, and coffee went unfilled occasionally; needed lemon for the crab legs and couldn't get the bartender's attention (even though no one but I was at the bar standing, waiting) and eventually stopped a chef or other kitchen-oriented staff member to ask for lemons, which eventually arrived after a prolonged trip to the kitchen—and the venue was not at capacity. Perhaps this was to allow guests to spend time speaking to each other than being constantly interrupted, but it was noticeable. Over all the food selection was broad and of high quality. Notable exceptions did exist: the lemon tart was not set and fell apart when handled, appeared to not be fully cooked; the crème brûlée separated from the crusty top leaving a gooey soup at the bottom of the special cup. Those were only two of the many options, but based on reputation and prior experience, this was unexpected. Perhaps it was an off day?
Fantastic! Everything was delicious. It would be nice to have a few more gluten free desserts. I loved the creme brûlée!
Second time to this restaurant in the last couple of months. Great setting, great service, great food! Highly recommended!
Nothing like a business like this tacking on a secret 5% fee onto the check, blaming the fact they can't manage to pay their staff a decent wage. Honestly, if it's so hard, raise your damn prices.
This is one of the finest buffet brunches in town. The food is always fresh, creative, and delicious. The service is outstanding and the view of the marina and Elliott Bay is fantastic.
I loved this restaurant. Food was good and price was reasonable. Sat down at our table and there was a nice note card widhing my daughter a happy birthday. Only complaint is they didn’t give my daughter a birthday dessert and the mojito drink didn’t have any alcohol in it. Other than that I highly recommend this place.
Tried the pris fixe menu and was not disappointed. Crab and avocado rolls to start, seafood Louie for dinner, and a flourless chocolate torte to end a delicious meal...$36. The view and service made it a great evening with my husband and a good pal.
I had the most amazing time at the Palisade! From walking in the door to the stream rolling through the entryway, to the seating, and the amazing views. This is the first time I have been, and I was impressed beyond anything I could have expected!!
