Roast Prime Rib And Eggs
Creamy Horseradish, au Jus, Rice or House Potatoes
Assorted Ice Cream Cups
Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura
Go early, we had reservations for 7pm. The restaurant was empty, but the temaki station was closed.
The Prime Rib was soft, and they served generous portions.
We ordered the all you can eat prime rib buffet. I had prime rib which was cold. Au jus was Luke warm. Prime rib was soft enough to cut with a fork, sushi was good, baked fish and shrimp tempura. For salad, I selected the broccoli crab salad. Everything was very tasty! We will definitely be back and hopefully it will be busier a d the food will be hot.
Such a beautiful restaurant and so fun to feed the fishes
We ordered the prime rib for two. We didn’t know ahead of time that there was also a buffet but we decided on getting a meal off the menu. The veggies were ice cold, the potatoes were just barely warm and the prime rib was also cold and tasted like dirty socks. I would not recommend eating here. We also ordered rum punch drinks and got fruit punch with rum in it.
Good food, attentive staff, loved the koi pond
What a great breakfast spot with NO wait!! This is definitely a hidden gem that most people do not know about. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy. Definitely come here for a relaxed and delicious breakfast without the crazy long waits.
No one knows about this excellent restaurant for breakfast. Quiet, great service, good food. Very enjoyable
The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had an enjoyable b-day breakfast.
Prime rib was yummy. Only the shoyu poke wasn’t fresh.
Our server went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She was great!
This review is for the dinner buffet. The buffet stations had employees serving all the food which I appreciated. The food was all very good. I especially enjoyed the prime rib, shoyu pork, potatoes, sushi and crab (the crab costs extra). The service was EXCELLENT! All of the staff was extremely nice and attentive to every request. The service won me over. I hope that they can survive until all restrictions are lifted because Pagoda is a local gem and a great go to spot for any occasion.
Food was barely warm. Flavor of some items were ok. The overall experience was disappointing for the price. The snow crab looked and tasted old. The bottom line is “the food and services doesn’t match their advertisements”.
Definitely would not recommend to a friend!!!
The service really made our visit super enjoyable...the young lady serving us was absolutely fantastic--great personality, always available, love her jokes. The restaurant is a bit old looking (needs a face lift).
The service was great but the food is so not worth $50 a person.
Loved the Pagoda Floating restaurant!!! My new go to breakfast spot!
A very local and not a tourist joint
Buffet was full and a nice variety
The Coi in the pond are amazing
We went in a group of 8 and the photos of food items looked great on the website and on OpenTable. We arrived and it was very quiet and then were offered drinks. The wine was old, definitely not a fresh bottle. They had a very limited beer selection and we were not given menus. There was only buffet and were not told price; they acted like we knew cost and items in buffet. We were told about crab legs not being available due to how expensive they are right now. The buffet was $50 as we later found out and I do not feel it was worth the cost. The service was good, they were very attentive but I would definitely not go back. Without the crab or regular menu, its just not worth it.
It was a cute spot where you can feed the koi fish outside. When it said floating restaurant, I thought you might feel the water or it might spin or something but it just sits there :/
Food is buffet style. Not a ton of options and the crab legs are not included in the initial price. Drink selection (non alcoholic) is minimal. The food they had available was good. Potatoes were devine. And of course everyone working here is super nice.
The reason I rated this experience as fair overall is because they have not updated their Opentable menus. I booked for a Sunday expecting to have the Sunday Seafood Brunch but they are currently NOT offering the brunch buffet. I was told they are only doing dinner buffets. Also, be aware they told me the dinner buffet does not have crab.
We ended having a few breakfast options to choose from a normal fixed menu. I had the French toast which was good. Also had bacon and eggs which was fine.
I was very disappointed that the menu offerings were not updated as I was really looking forward to their brunch buffet.
Be aware if you have booked as I see many reservations have been made since they just reopened.
Great, friendly service. Clean establishment. All PPE and social guidelines followed.
Such a yummy meal. With terrific employee service and hospitality
Breakfast menu had so many choices. The Ham and Eggs were delicious!
Definitely want to go back.
Hmmm maybe French toast next
Service help was fantastic as usually!!
We came to enjoy their prime rib special for 2 that has been extended through August 2020. First, I'd like to say that they're prevention measures are up their with the best of them. They take your temperature when you arrive and always were their masks. We had to wear our masks at all times except when we were seated at our table. Table seating was spaced out appropriately. Second, their customer service was spot on. Thanks to the staff: Manager, Kalvin and our 2 wait staff Dennis and Joy. They exceeded our expectations! The food? What can you say?? Prime rib! Comes with a salad, rice, mashed or roasted potatoes. Bonus, 1 pound of snow crab legs. Yum...yum!! At the end, you get their bread pudding with the warm cream sauce. All that for under $45 for 2 people. Can't get any better than that! During these times, we need to spread the positivity out there and they definitely deserve it!
The lunch buffet was so yummy. I overate!
I gave Pagoda 2 stars because the service was excellent. The food was terrible and not worth the $45 per person. We ordered prime rib medium rare and it came out medium well. It looked like it was zapped in the microwave. The crab legs were the only thing that was decent. Everything else was not good at all. We had a party of 10, 3 of us were seniors, and we had 3 kids. Our bill came out to over $600 including tip. We could have gone to a steak house and spent less. I was very disappointed.
The staff was very friendly, courteous and quick in refilling our drinks and serving us more food. It was an exceptional experience even considering the social distancing. I tipped them $70 for a memorable night at a famous local restaurant to celebrate my sisters 47th birthday (party of 5). We will definitely be back. Mahalo Pagoda!
Our waitress worked very hard. She was very friendly and always smiling. Now that we have to seat 6 feet apart I don't have to squeeze to get up and out. The restaurant is so spacious I don't have to worry about bumping into another person any where in the restaurant.
Tori and everyone were fantastic!! friendly, efficient, helpful and all took such great precautions with health safety
Definitely going back again
The service has improved since my last visit the week before. There is more workers. The meal came out really fast and all at once! This time they didn't forget our salad and the bread pudding was served hot. This was a good value, 2 Prime rib dinner & crab for $44
The July special. The food came out quick but it was not hot.
Staff and management have put a lot of thought into how to provide a great Pagoda dining experience while keeping customers and staff safe.
Fantastic food for a very reasonable price and great service, appreciate commitment to safe dining and social distancing. Will return!
Food was very good, crab legs were awesome!! Service was slow and somewhat confused.
This was the first time my new husband and I had dined at The Pagoda for brunch and, I must say, we enjoyed every minute! The food was DELICIOUS, the service IMPECCABLE, and the ambience RELAXING and IMMEASURABLE! We were married at The Pagoda in December 2019, had our reception there, too, and this brunch experience just added to our love of the place. Thank you, Pagoda, for helping us make such wonderful memories!!
Although the experience was different due to this Covid thing. We felt Pagoda made it as safe as possible for us with the practices they did to ensure everyones safety. Pagoda have always been top of their game with their customer service and it was nice to see that that hasn't changed one bit. Their food is still great and the prices are hard to beat. Well done Pagoda Restaurant!
We enjoy going to Pagoda for our birthday celebrations. Anna is the best waitress at Pagoda and knows what we like to drink and cleans our table after our piles of seafood. She also gets a special cheesecake for the birthday person. The crab there is the best and there are a lot in the buffet that we like. Thank you. We hope we can keep going there for many more years.
Seeing friends that worked together in the 60’s & haven’t seen each other for years until now. The noise level was low but we were laughing quite a bit because of all the good memories we shared. Hopefully we didn’t disturb other guests. Service was excellent & the choices of the buffet was awesome!
It’s a wonderful restaurant to celebrate any occasion!!
always great food and service whether dining for breakfast or lunch
This Friday's quiet table at Pagoda Floating Restaurant offered great catch-up conversation with a friend who retired! The lunch buffet, the staff, the atmosphere and service was as always excellent and friendly! Making the dining and occassion a very memorable "Hawaii local" experience. Just great fresh food, nice friendly and courteous service and great price! Will be baaaaack! Mahalo!!
What another great find. Good food at the buffet, super sweet server, beautiful surroundings. All ended on a high note when we were given fish food to feed the carp after lunch in the outdoor pond.
