Although not as good as past meals, Page is still a good choice in Sag Harbor. Pasta with Bolognese sauce was very good, as was tiramisu. Gelato--although not real gelato---was fine. Fried calamari was prepared well but octopus with brussel sprouts missed the mark.
Ambiance is pleasant although it can get noisy when packed.
four of us dined this time, at page at main, for lunch. the hostess was excellent - very friendly, pleasant & welcoming - exactly as one's hostess/greeter should be !!! our waiter was also very nice, professional, and attentive. we dined in the back room which is lovely, unique & warm. three of us had the grilled shrimp & moroccan couscous with a cilantro, soy, yuzu drizzle. it was a very tasty dish, however, the drizzle was only around the edge of the couscous. i would have loved to have some more of the drizzle on the shrimp as well, since they were a tad bland & some additional drizzle would have been perfect!! one of us had the lobster BLT with handcut fries and it was very good also. the lemon desert was light and refreshing!! we will certainly return!!
One of the best meals we’ve had in a while. My wife had a nightly special, Black Sea bass in a curry sauce, as a entree that was beyond good. Hope they add that to their regular menu. I had a half a chicken that was equally good. Can’t believe it took us so to discover this neighborhood gem.
Just made a reservation for next week.
I really like PAGE, that's why I return. Our waiter welcomed us back-always a nice touch. I had the pork tenderloin this time and it was delicious. I thought I'd take some home, but it was so good I ate the whole thing!
The noise level after 7:00 is very high.
I visited Page at 63 Main while in Sag Harbor for a bachelorette party. We were easily accommodated, even though our cab didn't show up and we were running a bit late for our reservation. We all shared the calamari which was great, and I ordered a shrimp and pasta dish. The fresh pasta stuck together a bit but the flavor was there and I enjoyed it. My entire group enjoyed their food. Service was delightful. I would happily visit again on another trip to Sag Harbor!
I took my daughter and niece here for a dinner, and we really enjoyed it. Our server was very helpful for my vegan daughter, and in suggesting wine . The feel of the restaurant is casual, but nicely designed and has a great feel to it. It became a little crowded after 8 pm, but to be expected on a holiday summer weekend. We enjoyed our fish and pasta dishes, and would come back again.
My husband and I had dinner at 63 Main this past weekend. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Even though it was LD weekend and they were quite busy, we felt very well taken care of. We definitely plan on going back. I think it will end up being our go to place in Sag Harbor.
Ate outside with view of 1800s American Hotel. Excellent accommodating service.
We were 3 people and they were willing to divide a kale salad appetizer in 3 for us.
Calamari appetizer was excellent as was my main dish of Fisherman's Stew.
The house Pinot Grigio was very good and under $50.
We did not have dessert or coffee
Yet the bill was over $80 per person(because of high main dish prices)
-- and I am not sure the food was worth that much. That is why I only gave it a 3 for "value."
But Page is not unusual in that in the Hamptons and its food was better than other restaurants with equally high prices. Life in the fast lane....
I have been to Page several times now and have never been disappointed. It is fun to sit by the window or outside if weather permits. It is always busy but not too crazy. Food is consistently good with seasonal choices and some staples that are wonderful. The menu has something for everyone!
Food was 'underwhelming' . My husband's pappardelle with shrimp was very unappetizing in its presentation. My crabcakes and our guest's dish were overspiced. Same one-dimensional peppery substance, no subtlety - and I like spicy food. I appreciate the agreeable ambiance but the food has to measure up.
All around a very good dining experience - flavorful food, attentive, experienced service and a cool decor. Great option for families, restaurant has kids menu with the usuals to pick from and a fish of the day choice. A definite recommend, make reservations in advance and leave enough time to find parking
Page has'nt disappointed us and we have eaten here a number of times. The food is always delicious. Notable is the octopus appetizer, the salads, fish specials, and the chicken on the menu. The dining areas are lovely, and situated in the heart of Sag Harbor, its fun to walk around vefire ir after dinner.
Thanks to traffic, we arrived 20 minutes late; despite being a busy Friday, the host was very welcoming and gracious.
The food was delicious (I only remember that I had an Asian-inspired Halibut dish that was terrific). And great drinks.
I had several questions and the server was knowledgeable and attentive. Timing of everything was just right. I was impressed that she, herself, found time to keep filling my water glass despite have several other tables including a large party, to tend to and keep happy.
The only negative and it's not a big deal and it's true lots of places, are the tables are quite close together.
I would definitely go back and recommend Page at 63 Main.
We came out to Sag Harbor for a show and picked this restaurant because of good reviews. The food and service were excellent, though the prices were a bit high, though that's the way it is in Sag Harbor in the Summer.
Everything was wonderful! A good time and meal was had by all.
We were a group of four who each had a different choice for appetizer and entree. Each was wonderful. The service was excellent though the wine pour could have been a lot more generous. We chose to sit in the "porch" area which was great except for a family with very loud children. Overall, it met and exceeded our high expectations.
