Nothing arouses an appetite more than a sizzling, juicy, tender steak... hot, fresh from the broiler, resting on the plate before you, ready to be carved, ready to be eaten...a Pace's steak.
Our meat is different, and you'll taste why. We pay a lot of attention to our steaks long before they even get to our kitchen. First, we select only the best shells directly from the butcher market docks in the heart of New York City. We don't trust anyone else to age them. We do that ourselves, with weeks of rotating under special lights and fans to produce the tastiest, most tender cuts you'll find this side of the Tunnel. Our marinated steaks are bathed with a secret brewed sauce and steeped in it for three days, until the unique flavor permeates every bite. Then we prod and we poke, until we're satisfied that the steak we're serving is a steak you'll remember. The Pace Family--four generations of serving food to the public. In my personal opinion, Pace's delivers like few others. The combination of a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, excellent food, professional and dedicated staff and menu/specials list that has something for everyone make this my go-to place for steak - and just great food in general. This was a small bachelor party for my future son-in-law. The evening was a big success.

Went here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and Pace's did not disappoint. Everything from the ambiance/vibe of the room, the food, and the friendly service was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Great service, we had a reservation and we seated right away. The food was great and comes out with plenty of time to have conversations and enjoy each part of the meal.

We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. We started with good cocktails appetizer of cold crab cocktail and lobster bisque which were both delicious. We ordered the salmon blackened which was delicious cooked perfectly. The lamp chops were good. The service was excellent. Will definitely return.

The food is almost otherworldly. My wife and I both had the petite filet (6-7 oz). They were cooked to perfection with a fabulous outer char. As a connoisseur of French onion soup (I try it anywhere it’s on the menus - dozens to this point), theirs is easily top 5! Seriously impressed. The drinks were a little weak, and I was a bit surprised that my old fashioned didn’t boast craft ice and had only one muddled cherry and no garnishes. Still, an absolutely outstanding dining experience. Our one complaint is that the waitress failed to mention what sounded like a FABULOUS desert special - one that we definitely would have ordered if we’d heard of it before the check was delivered. She seemed a little interested in rushing us out.
