Average to poor Italian food. Bland flavor and disappointing. Served with cold bread. Expected more for the price.
Excellent and we are in from out of town
Second time eating there in a week so everything was very good
Food literally had no taste and while we had a sweet waitress the restaurant was understaffed and our small plate appetizer and our entrees came out at the same time. We won’t go back
We had reservations and we were seated promptly. Our waitress was pleasant but not very interested . I had to ask for a glass of wine, She brought the wrong order and we couldn’t even find her for 15 minutes to correct it. The food was very marginal - I would not recommend this restaurant
Food: I liked my duck. My wife found her pasta dish too heavy and didn’t eat much. The waitress noticed this and removed form bill. My fried has very pleased with chicken parm.
Ambiance: over the years we spent a month each in Italy and Sicily andTuscany on 3 occasions. So we’re spoiled.
We found your dining room a little to “cafeteria “. You could dress it up.
Staff: the best. Everyone was super.
Our experience was so disappointing. It’s been about 5 years since I lived in Savannah and dined at Pacci. The menu was not very exciting and the food wasn’t great. There was only about 4 other people in the restaurant which should have tipped me off at the beginning. I had the scallops which were fishy and undercooked. The price was extremely high for an underwhelming experience. Oh, and there were no special like mentioned on the app.
Crowded and loud, bar service very slow. Food delivery also slow. Menu selections very restrictive - should probably advertise that.
Brunch was great. Seated immediately at reservation time. Server took care of us.
Too noisy always, and the alcohol service is too expensive. Food is pricey as well but it is worth it. The drinks are the same as everywhere else (Dewars on the Rocks).
Server stated that she had 5 tables and she would get bread to our table when she could.
The chicken dish I ordered was so salty I sent it back...they had limited entrees due to Valentine Day...
Normally, Pacci is one of my favorite Italian restaurants, however, on this Valentine's Day visit it was thoroughly disappointing. First, I was expecting an Italian dinner. Instead there was a "special" Valentine's Day menu ONLY! The regular menu was unavailable. So, the choices were limited. I choose Coq Au Vin. Ok, not necessarily an Italian dish, but this is a very good restaurant and selections were limited by the "special" menu. The entree, however, was NOT Coq Au Vin! Unless some perverted version of Coq Au Vin is made with Marsala wine with rice and green beans on the side. It WAS Chicken Marsala plain and simple (and not very good). The only reasons I did not send it back was : 1.) My choices were limited and 2.) I did not wish to spoil a Valentine's Date Night.
Word of advice: If it ain't broke don't Valentine it!
Special menu was a miss. Dessert was not fresh made onsite. For the price, we expected better.
Overall pretty quiet place, Great staff, great drink selection & food was delicious
Good food, good value
My wife and I came to Pacci for a brunch experience in Savannah. The food was great and service was amazing, it was my wife’s birthday and they treated her with a complimentary blueberry muffin. Some of the menu items were a little overpriced in my opinion, however the experience and food were amazing.
Bar service was slow but OK, table service was rushed and seemed confused. It was a Friday evening and the staff looks young, maybe that is why. Food was good. I am not sure I like the dogs in the dining room, had I known, I would have gone somewhere else.
The service was good but the food was just average. For Italian food it lacked flavor.
Kitchen was struggling getting food out but server was very engaged and offered us a complimentary glass of wine. Once food arrived it was delicious. Scallops perfectly cook.
We ate at Pacci during Savannah Restaurant Week on a trip for our 10th anniversary. The decor and overall atmosphere are great. Our server Savannah was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was good (we ordered off the Restaurant Week menu), as were the cocktails (I had a Negroni and Southside; my husband had a La Fleur and Paloma). Definitely recommended, especially if you’re staying at the Brice!
Because the hotel it is attached to is a pet friendly, there were dogs barking and birds gawking. Not relaxing. My friend and I order the braised short ribs. I was so disappointed the meat was dried out. Mind you we were in fairly early in the evening, so dried out meat was not an expectation. I did ask the waitress to try to get the kitchen to make some type of gravy to hydrate the ribs. She came back with an amazing gravy with some of the chunky tomatoes and onions the ribs cooked in. THAT is what should had been included.
Outstanding brunch.Perfect ambiance and outstanding menu
Food was nice waitress was really sweet!
The bar was crowded with conventioneers but otherwise, no one other than our party of 2 was in the place. The service was acceptable but nothing special. The same can be said about the food. There was a limited menu and while the quality of the house made pasta was good, the quality of the rest of the food was fairly mediocre. It's not a place I see us going back to anytime. Not for a local crowd. But a decent enough place for the tourists.
We have had better meals at this restaurant. I got the ziti with chorizo and olives, and my wife had the chicken parmigiana. The ziti was mostly chorizo and olives, so much so that half way though I was through. For me, I can only take so much chorizo. My wife described her dish as very ordinary. There are so many great restaurants in Savannah, most within a short walk from the hotel. If visiting Savannah I would suggest exploring.
The meals we each ordered were all really good! The bread that came out before our meals could have been better, it was dry and not very good. But still highly recommend eating here! Great service as well.
Dogs are apparently welcome in the hotel and the restaurant, so as dog lovers we didn’t mind.
Italian restaurant with good options. Atmosphere is nice but suspect it could get pretty loud if restaurant is full. The bolognese was a highlight of my evening.
Lovely brunch menu. Unusually quiet for this space. Hadn’t been here for quite a while. Cooking and service warrant more frequent visits.
I know it was Christmas, but I wish the service was a little better. There were a lot of dirty glasses @ the end of the bar. You weren’t acknowledged upon entering the back end of the restaurant, even though workers looked @ you. My husband throughly enjoyed his food, but mine was meh, so rating was a bit higher. Nothing I would go out of my way for.
This was Christmas Day and the restaurant was too busy to get quality service for an enjoyably experience. Only one bartender was working and we received one incorrect drink. The pasta was undercooked (less than al dente)
Christmas dinner. Very expensive for the amount and quality of food served. Long wait time for some customers while others came in and ate and were out the door.
We had our Christmas Dinner celebration here and we very much enjoyed ourselves. Everything was excellent. Savannah, our server, did a fantastic job.
End of breakfast. Food bar extremely limited. Cold. Just not good. :-(
Limited breakfast menu on Christmas was not expressed when reservation was made. There was only one which is for 10 tables and we were not the only Customer is disappointed by the selection
A great Christmas Eve with my beautiful wife feast of seven fishes
RIP OFF is what I would say. Should have known when you arrive on a Saturday night and there were 2 other tables in what is a huge space. This is a gorgeous space attached to a hotel. The wait staff did well and should be complimented. To start off a double Makers and Coke should not be $24. That is frankly robbery. The appetizers were really the stars of the meal. The cheese with grapes and raisins was really tasty and the cheese was marvelous. The basic of what is bruschetta of Challah bread with some heirloom tomato again was delicious and seemed have been freshly made. Now comes the insult. This is an upscale Italian restaurant and I expected a truly good meal after the appetizers. Boy were we ever let down. I had the Georgia Shrimp and Risotto with peas and mint. The shrimp were small and slightly over cooked, the risotto could have come from a bag at a grocery store. The peas were old and not fresh and if there was mint I certainly did not taste it. The Braciole (Bra'suuule) was tough and chewy, meaning it had not been cooked long and the sauce/gravy was frankly nothing more than crush tomatoes with raw garlic tossed in. The Chicken Parmesan well was over cooked and dry, the paste was not fresh nor had any flavor to it and yet again the sauce was the same as the Braciole. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT !!! We tried to make the best of it and ordered their Creme Brulle. Again well presented but lacking in the execution. The Brulle was trying to be alot of things, and it was not good in any of them. It was not cooked thru and had a gritty texture. The edible raspberries and the orchid were better than the Brulle. All in all a huge FAIL !! Pacci, you need a new chef if it is even possible to restore faith in this spot again. I know Northern, Southern and Central Italian food well and this was not any of those things. Do yourself a favor goto Olive Garden it would be better than my complete disaster of a meal that was $200.00
Stopped here for breakfast and it was wonderful. Excellent service and delicious food. Ricotta pancakes are the best!
I would give them 5 stars on everything except how can you have no sweet potatoes on thanksgiving?
Went there for brunch. Service was excellent and food was very good. Menu has a lot of choices. One of us got the Avocado toast and he didn't think the bread they used was very good. Besides that we all enjoyed the meal.
Savannah was our server and she was outstanding.
The night we dined at Pacci there was a party going on in another room nearby and the band was so loud we couldn't hear each other across the table. Our waiter was very good and the food was served in a timely manner. I thought the food was good. The food wasn't great. I had the pate to start which was very good my entree was the bolognese and it was only ok. the bolognese was served on top of pasta which had all clumped together. I am from Savannah and I have been to this restaurant several times. I think it is a fun restaurant to go to and sit at the bar and have a drink and dinner.
