All of our mains were absolutely delicious, fish and chips, pork belly and sea bass and my son enjoyed his goats cheese tartlet starter. The sea bass and pork belly were relatively small portions, quality not quantity but that suited me. The pub wasn't particularly busy for a Friday evening but it was fairly early on. The staff were friendly and the pub had a warm atmosphere. Some people might be put off by the stuffed wildlife on the wall but it didn't bother us. A bit pricey but most places are these days. We didn't have desserts except they bought a mini dessert with a candle in it as they knew one of us was celebrating a birthday. That was delicious too and a nice touch! Thank you

Delicious food, brilliant cocktails and they made the birthday boy feel very special. And the Jerk sauce is amazing!

We’ve been here over 10 times now and every-time the food, atmosphere and service is outstanding. The burgers are by far the best in Oxford. Great rich beef flavour and perfect seasoning. All the ingredients is are fresh and delicious. The onion pickle is spot on too. The skin on fries comes with a variety of toppings but our favourite is the cheesy chips with melted cheese all over. The staff are friendly and always accommodate any needs or extras we have wanted. The service is quick, we have never really waited longer than 10 -15 minutes for our food. Although on the weekend evenings it can be busy so the wait is a little longer.

We sat inside but they also have great undercover outdoor seating available. The car park is a reasonable size and we found a space. Inside was a little noisy as a large party were in celebrating a birthday. Service was excellent. Food was good with generous portions. Mixed grill was huge and the only slight negative was the spice level on it, not expected. After the meal, one of the owners asked how everything had been and was keen to know if we had enjoyed the meal which was a nice touch. Would certainly go again.

We stopped at Napier's for my daugther's 6th birthday. The staff made her feel really special - the table had a birthday card and a small banner, she had a birthday candle and cake, and a complimentary drink for all the family. We all felt special. The food was just as good as the staff. It was a lovely meal and we stayed much longer than expected. Akisha, our waitress was very attentive and looked after us extremely well. In particular, because our daughter has allergies so we need to be careful about her food.
