Been there several times the food is always excellent service is great a little on the expensive side or overpriced for the casual dining out definitely worth it
Can't wait for them to re-open! I wish we had found them sooner.
My girlfriend and I booked a last minute anniversary dinner here and had a wonderful experience beginning to end! Our waiter Fabiano was exceptionally kind and helpful, and our other waiter Alexander was also very nice and helpful with our wine selection! Would definitely recommend and will 100% be going back
tough in these days of covid but they did a nice job
The ambiance and lighting were subdued and perfect, even as more people arrived the atmosphere remained quiet and romantic. The waiter also added to the quality experience with his knowledge on wine and the dishes ordered!
Server was helpful and friendly. Food was great!
After having usually fantastic experiences, this visit was a complete bust. Poor host, server and even the manager was inefficient and unfriendly. These days, going out isn’t cheap. If service is poor, it makes it all seem painful, not the enjoyment you should feel treating yourself.
Osteria Posto provides a very good outdoor dining experience. It would be good if they got some outdoor heaters to enable outdoor dining as the weather gets colder.
Went there for a birthday dinner. Wanted to sit outside bc of Covid. It was a fairly warm night thankfully bc they had no heaters outside. Tables were somewhat closer than 6 feet which made us a little uncomfortable. Outside area was looking over the highway so it was VERY noisy! There was really no ambiance at all. Basicallly had only 1 waiter for about 20 tables. He was doing his best and working very hard so I don’t fault him. The manager should have realized 1 waiter can’t handle that many tables. He should have had more help working with him. Food was actually very good when it finally came. I won’t go there again.
Alexander was amazing, made us feel so special!
This is our GO TO place. We have safely moved from outdoor dining to indoors dining because the room is very large with sky high ceilings and tables are widely spaced. The good and service is always superb. Last nite we split a beautiful captures salad,
We had an awesome dinner at Osteria Posto... octopus was very very good as was the halibut... we will be back!!
Our recent dinner at Osterio Posto was fabulous! We split the caprese salad which was amazing! I had the garlic shrimp and my husband had the filet. Both were delicious. We finished with the Tiramisu. The best I have ever had! Of course my Prosecco was ice cold and my husband's beer was too. We loved it and would go again and order the exact same meal in a heart beat! Also liked that we were at a quiet booth away from everyone and felt very safe.
We sat out on the patio. While there is noise from the highway, it's not too intrusive. The food (we had salmon, carbonara, the Brussels sprouts with gorgonzola, and the asparagus) was absolutely delicious. The bread was fabulous. And the arancini was spectacular. It's pricey, but worth the splurge.
Great service and food!!
Nice mix of traditional and creative Italian options. Great cocktail menu
The food was very good, I'm local and been a few times. There have been times when the food was hit or miss but this nights experience was pretty good. The crab tortellini was SO GOOD. We also got the mushroom tagliatelle and it was a little too greasy and not enough salt. For starters, we had the mussels, meatballs and beet salad, all delicious.
Delicious food...especially the bacon and roasted garlic
servers did a great job and outdoor area, though a bit noisy due to car sounds from highway and overhead music, was very nice.
Met friends there for dinner and drinks during Covid. Service was great. The server and staff were very polite, helpful and thoughtful. Food was very good.
Despite of too many restrictions that restaurants have to impose now, we had a very relaxing evening, and the staff was very accommodating. The food was excellentl.
Good meal. Friendly service, but a bit slow. Nice patio for outside dining.
Great. Loved it
Not impressed and disappointing, poor seating options, just ok service and mediocre food
Service was off but I am still a fan.
Food is fantasic! Service is fast and friendly. My only complaint was the ambiance; this was our first visit post-COVID, and we were seated outside in front of the restauramt where there is no music and were basically in the parking lot. The music which is typically played throughout the restaurant was not piped outside, so it was very quiet and we could hear the traffic onRTE 95.
Such a great meal the soup, great pizza and apple dessert. And excellent service. Thanks Posto!
I am continually surprised how much my family and I enjoy this restaurant. With covid this is very tough time but we felt like their set up was very safe. The food was very good and the service was outstanding.
seared gnocchi and roasted chicken was good. Drinks were excellent. The chicken parm was really less than average. Wouldn't order that again. But we do want to come back as everything else was great
Osterio is a certainly fine dining but overall we were disappointed for a number of reasons. For each course, one of us was disappointed in what was served. I started with the Caprese salad , but instead of using succulent heirloom tomatoes, the dish used Tiny cherry tomatoes buried in a huge bed of greens, and the supposedly homemade mozzarella looked and tasted more like shaved Parmesan. The dressing was overly sweet, heavy and did not resemble balsamic vinegarette. Nor did the dish resemble any kind of Caprese salad that I ever had been served. It shouldn’t be called a Caprese salad in my opinion. My wife however enjoyed the Harvest salad. The bread seemed not to be fresh, and was on the stale side. For entrees, my wife got the Haddock with roasted mushrooms and potato purée special, which I must say was off the charts delicious. But I was disappointed in the Tuscan seafood stew. It contained 2 shrimp, nicely done, but the rest of the dish consistent of rubbery, tiny calamari, tiny, tiny mussels in the shell, and a tiny piece of white fish, all buried in a spicy sauce with three or four large ciabatta on the top. Visually it was more appetizing than the actual experience of eating the dish. The service was just so so. We had to ask for bread, and it took and overly long time before we were able to place our order. However, someone did come over to take our drink order right after we were seated which was nice. On the plus side, my wife’s drink was superb. She got the Hayride, and it cleverly had a thin apple slice affixed to the lip of the glass with a close pin. Pretty cool. Bottom line for us: This restaurant is not cheap, and we expected a better dining experience for the price. We might return because of the Haddock dish, but otherwise not sure.
First time at this restaurant. My biggest complaint I had was I have an allergy and felt the majority of their salads, appetizers, and entrees included these ingredients. Also, I find most restaurants and chefs accommodating and no manager or chef came out to discuss this with me. In addition, the service was slow, and not sure if this is due to the number of staff members working due to the pandemic but overall neither my husband nor I found the food favorable and wouldn't dine there again.
Amazing food, excellent service. Great wine. I could not recommend them more highly.
The food was very good, and service was good. The prices charged for the meals were higher than the prices posted on the menus. Note that depending on where you sit in the covered patio area, you will have to deal with the overwhelming roar coming from the highway.
Covid at a table next to bar. Enjoyed talking with bartender.
I had the Salmon and roasted vegetables. I loved it.
Excellent food.Nice patio.
