Eating on the patio was an excellent option during these trying times, and the experience was excellent in all aspects.

Enjoyable service, excellent food and wine. Overall a lovely evening.

Honestly, it was not great. I had been there before and it was excellent but obviously has changed.

Service was VERY slow and there were only 3 tables. The salads two of us ordered were forgotten and one of the entrees came out cold (gnocchi) and two others were lukewarm.

For a bill that was over $200 for 4 people, I would have expected a better experience.

The new tasting menu and wine pairings are excellent. Highly recommend.

I celebrated my birthday that night and it was amazing! Our server was attentive and we bantered and joked around. The manager came and checked in on us and treated us to some house made lemoncello. Amazing place!!!

Great food. We visit 2-3 times per year. In the past, I’ve experienced the food being too salty at times and I love salt.
This meal was great and seasoned well.

One of the pasta dishes had an extremely smoky taste, server could have been more informed of that, was overwhelming and not enjoyable.

Delightful patio with pond and fountain in back. Ordered rib eye steak and it was too fatty. Wouldn’t order it again. Flavor was good, however

We had to wait a bit for our table, but the staff was very sympathetic and gave us a free appetizer. Service was outstanding.

My sister and I sat outside on their beautiful patio and enjoyed a lovely meal. We had course choices and excellent wine pairings selected for us by our awesome waiter, Steven. It was a wonderful evening and will definitely go back to this gem of a spot!

Lovely setting outside on the patio. Great service. Food was great but rather pricey.

Terrible, terrible dining experience. Of the four meals ordered, only one was satisfactory. Pasta came stuck together in a solid, overcooked lump. Beef was ordered medium, only slightly pink, and came almost raw with pooled blood on top of the slices. Lamb chops were ordered medium, slightly pink, and arrived so rare they actually were cold. Everything was so over salted it was like eating salt brine. The service was excellent and we were compensated for two of the meals. But we likely will never go back.

We love I Nonni! The food is always beautifully presented and well prepared from high quality ingredients. You can tell the chef has a high standard for every plate that goes out from the kitchen. The service is always welcoming and attentive. The ambiance is elegant and comfortable. We consider it a hidden gem of the Twin Cities culinary scene.

Overall, a really nice Italian option when you want the experience. We arrived on time for our reservation and were sat within minutes - a great start. The dining room is warm and inviting and the fireplace at the end really provided a nice focal point and contrast with the high vaulted ceilings. We ordered 3 apps and 2 were not great - the calamari was super salty but I suspect isn't their breading, but rather their oil to fire it from frozen. The carpaccio was tasteless - it was lacking acid, oil, and any sort of taste. I think the meat was too thick, too cold, and the dish had an identity crisis between being carpaccio and an upside-down salad. We shared our observations and moved on. The entrees were a major comeback from the appetizers! Gnocchi special was just that - special! Wifey had the squid ink pasta with all kinds of crustaceans - she was happy. Kid #1 got a pizza - crust, and flavors were excellent and kid #2 for the wild boar pappardelle - so well done. Tiramisu and Key Lime tartlets for dessert. The Pre-tip bill was $212 including wine for parents. We will return!

1st time ever disappointed in the food. Pasta under cooked, didn't make it to el dente.
Sauces bland, both the Guanciale, and Amatriciana. Not sure why, new chef maybe?

Delightful patio!

Lovely outdoor seating in the back on the water. Nice lights as the sun goes down. Servers were wonderful accommodating us as one of our guests was unavoidably late. Dinner and wine was delicious.

Staff was very friendly and on top of service. Food came out very quickly. The food was incredible, everything was absolutely amazing and we can’t wait to come back.

The dinner and apps were great. Wonderful salad and brucetta. We had mussels and the meat and cheese platter (enough for two). Everything was beautifully presented with excellent service. The have a nice wine selection by the glass too.

We have been dining at I Nonnis' for years. It was alway a 4 star. Now we were surprised to see baseball hats on outside, people wearing jeans, etc. It has become a non4star for us. We will go somewhere else for fine dining. So sorry to see our escape to fine dining go down the hill, but yet the menu prices remain high. Waiter was really good. Steven.

As always, the patio at the restaurant is a delightful place to dine. The service is impeccable as is the food. Hopefully, during COVID, they will add heat lamps in the winter so we can continue to enjoy their amazing food and extensive wine list.

Most of the people dinning outside appeared to be celebrating anniversaries. The quiet setting was perfect.

As close to Italy as you can get in St. Paul. Service was okay, but friendly. Food was very good. Great selection of wines.
