    We greatly enjoyed our meal at Orso. Be sure to make a reservation. It fills up fast. The seafood chowder and Halibut were delicious. Great wine, cocktail and beer list.

    Halibut was delicious and cook perfect !!! Been on our Alaska trip for 10 days and order Halibut in other places on ship and land and was so disappointed on ordering halibut meals because they were so dry from overcooking and not prepare right . We were given a gift card from a family that comes to Orso when she comes up for business and she said try there Halibut and you won’t be disappointed. She was SO Right !! Yum !! Thank you !!! Sincerely The Baldwins

    Our waitress wasn’t “bad” but it was VERY obvious a larger party was receiving significantly better and more attentive service. After our waitress took our drink & appetizer orders, she took the menus from us. We received our drinks and appetizer. Drank them. Ate them. And still, had to wait. We had to wait a LONG time for her to come back and all she asked was if we needed anything else and we were like um yeah we’d like to order our dinner! She never did bring the menus back. We had to order via memory. So service wise, it was a negative experience compared to prior visits especially since we had a full view of the level of service the larger party was receiving from her. She def did nothing to make my birthday dinner a nice one and she definitely is not a server id want serving is again.

    My parents, my husband and I were all celebrating: our anniversary and my dad’s 81 birthday. Orso had two cards on our table for each occasion. The restaurant also treated us to complimentary desserts. Both were a lovely touch. As usual, the food was delicious. The restaurant is also in walking distance of the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts where we were attending a performance by Ira Glass.

    While the service was outstanding, it took quite a while to get our food. The cost of the meals was a bit on the high side but not terribly so.

    Everything was great but... wish our drinks could've came out faster. My brother and I were waiting for our beers, and the appetizer almost arrived before our drinks we ordered.
