    The halibut was great. My wife ordered the strawberry salad and it was as if they pulled it out of the freezer. The server was new but lack any knowledge of bar drinks. They comped the salad and gave us a free dessert but I won’t recommend this place.

    My wife and Iwere anticipating dining on Alaskan Giant Crab Legs and willing to pay the outrageous price of $130. pound. Much to my disappointment the size of the Giant Crab Legs were at best a medium size. The waiter was waffling regarding the size the restaurant was offering, so I showed him a picture of the Giant Crab Legs I purchesed at Costco. The waiter admitted that what was available at ORSO was substantially smaller in diameter and length. I purchaed a bottle of wine from the restaurant and not one time did the waiter offer to make an effort to replenish our empty wine glass,

    Excruciating slow service that caused the meal to be unacceptable. For a Monday night the restaurant was very crowded and even though we had a reservation, it didn’t seem to matter. Food was decent enough when it FINALLY arrived but waiting forever with no explanation from waiter made for a dinner that was unpleasant. We wouldn’t return and neither should you. They don’t deserve your business.

    Had not been to ORSO in several years. Decided to go there for a birthday celebration. We were so happy that we did. The food was as delicious as we remembered. The service and ambiance were excellent as well. Highly recommend ORSO for a memorable dining experience.

    Everything was great. Especially love the toasted ravioli but the filet and stuffed shrimp as well as the chicken parm were first rate as well

    One of the best restaurants in Anchorage. The ambience is very cozy & classic. Service was phenomenal, and the filet mignon was the absolute best we have ever had. We had non alcoholic beverages & coffees that were also excellent. Would highly recommend if you’re considering.

    The food was excellent and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. He was very attentive. We will definitely be back. Orso's is just a little easier to have a conversation, we like the restaurant next door but it is hard to hear people talking. If you want to enjoy your conversation I would recommend Orso's. Love the food, wish there were more gluten free options. I wanted halibut but there would be too many changes needed.

    One of my husband and I favorite date night spots. Easy to make reservations! Food and service were great. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Espresso Martini best in town! Will return and definitely recommend.
