   We had the pre fixe menu with three courses. Each dish was delicious and well worth the price. Great service and beautiful view from the upstairs floor.

   We were greeted with Welcome back!!! Seated in our favorite booth and taken care of like family. Hugs from staff we haven't seen in a minute and just amazing food. This restaurant is a neighborhood gem with world wide appeal!!

   My husband & I enjoyed the original Roy’s very much. We had the trio Mahi Mahi, butterfish & tuna + Crisy zucchini & bottle of wine. Very friendly & wonderful view. We will be back 🌺

   Our reservation requests were made to what I had asked so I am very pleased. The wait help was attentive up to a certain point until it got busy with other diners then our waiter was a bit forgetful. I had to remind him that he asked us to wait to give us a complimentary gift card before checking out. But overall we had a pleasant time celebrating my Birthday and anniversary.

   The dinner my wife and I had for our date night was as perfect as can be. From the hostess to the bussers, all staff were welcoming and courteous. Although I did not get his name, our waiter accommodated our every request and gave great suggestions from the menu. We had the Kuli’ou’ou mixed salad as a starter which was light and refreshing. For the main course, my wife had the filet mignon with crab mashed potatoes and I had the short ribs with honey mustard sauce. This was by far the best short ribs I’ve ever had. Finally, for dessert we both had our own chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream. The perfect ending dish for the perfect dinner. Much aloha and mahalo to all the staff at the Original Roy’s in Hawaii Kai for making our night away from the kids one to remember. 🤙🏽
