   The dinner my wife and I had for our date night was as perfect as can be. From the hostess to the bussers, all staff were welcoming and courteous. Although I did not get his name, our waiter accommodated our every request and gave great suggestions from the menu. We had the Kuli’ou’ou mixed salad as a starter which was light and refreshing. For the main course, my wife had the filet mignon with crab mashed potatoes and I had the short ribs with honey mustard sauce. This was by far the best short ribs I’ve ever had. Finally, for dessert we both had our own chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream. The perfect ending dish for the perfect dinner. Much aloha and mahalo to all the staff at the Original Roy’s in Hawaii Kai for making our night away from the kids one to remember. 🤙🏽

   The Mongolian Stir Fry is a delight - particularly when paired with the chocolate desert! Our FAVORITE local place with great food, great service, great atmosphere and music!

   Roy's is always the place to go! Whether just a dinner out or a special occasion, the food and service are always consistent and fabulous. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and we celebrated the evening with friends. We sat outside and enjoyed the tropical breezes. Had pupus and drinks....Roy's made it special with a complimentary dessert and a gift card!

   The month of May has prime rib Sunday. The 16oz prime rib with additional choices for side, was cooked to perfection. The miso butterfish is a classic that stands the test of time. Also from the vegetarian menu the tempura mushrooms are delicious. Service was excellent as usual.

    I haven’t been here in a while but it was exactly how I remember it!! Incredible food, drinks and service! Easily the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time!!
