Great location to watch the sunset! Drinks were excellent! We had the Mai Tai. I had the tasting menu option. All was excellent except I wasn’t too crazy about the cheesecake. Tasted too much like cream cheese instead of strawberry. Husband had the scallops. Very tasty but prefer them with one side a little more cooked. All the seasonings were very good. Beautiful presentation of food. I would go back.

Everything was great and far exceeded my expectations. I haven’t been to Roy’s since pre-covid. The service and the quality of the food were excellent. The menu is refreshed and varied enough to offer something for anyone. Each dish came out of the kitchen perfectly timed. I also much prefer the relaxing Hawaii Kai location.

The island ambiance was enhanced with a beautiful sunset; our visitors were blown away with the view. Every dish we ordered, from appetizers to deserts were delicious and even the house wines were above norm. And to round out this perfect experience, the service was more than we could have asked for. Thank you Roy's Hawaii Kai !

We had yet another lovely experience at Roy’s .Every bite was delicious and the service was so exceptional. The staff was extremely friendly, and they were super quick to bus the dirty dishes off the table, which always means a lot to me. Chad was awesome!

We had a fantastic dinner at the Original Roy’s. Ken had great recommendations for our dinner. The entire staff was friendly and very attentive checking in on us. We had a wonderful view of the sunset. I LOVE how Roy’s helps parents with littles. It makes me enjoy dinner here even more. Such a wonderful night!!

Chose the pre fixe menu to enable tasting different things. My husband chose the spring roll appetizer and meat loaf. Both meals were heavenly! Service was impeccable! The only drawback was that the outdoor seating was near a busy road. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here for his birthday while visiting Honolulu. The restaurant is basically located across from the Pacific Ocean, so every seat upstairs basically has a view. The best part of our experience was the service, there was never a moment that our water glasses weren’t filled or weren’t checked upon. The food was immaculate, tasty, and well described by our server. We will definitely be back!

We, a family of 3 have been there for a bday dinner. Everything wenr smooth from check in to leave the restaurant. Arrived at 5pm and sunset was 6pm so we enjoyed the beautiful view from our table. All stuff were nice and attentive. We will be back for next occasion.
