There was a hair in my food so I sent it back. The good news was that the food was recooked. The bad news is took so long to get the food that lunch was over and we had to leave for meetings. I would have thought that my food would have been removed from the bill, but it was not. This was the first and last time that I will go to this place.

Delicious love the new burrata on the menu. The burger is perfect for sharing. My brother often gets the popcorn to go for his movie nights.

We had the most wonderful experience celebrating my friend’s birthday at One18 Empire. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service truly made the night special. Our server, Susan, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and even crafted custom Old Fashioned cocktails just for us. She made sure every detail was perfect and went above and beyond to make the birthday celebration feel memorable. The chocolate dessert was a treat - rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back!

Food is always good here; but the service last night was awful… our server did not check in with us, took so long to offer us drinks, so much so that the manager came over and asked if we had had someone take our order… had to chase service down to get more drinks, condiments, even for paying the bill we had to stand up and go to the manager to get our bill paid. The restaurant was not even half full and there was lots of staff, not sure what was going on. There was a gentleman (assistant manager maybe?) who made my husband a drink and he was actually very friendly and helpful.

This experience was kind of disappointing. The restaraunt was understaffed and the service was rushed and unwelcoming. Our appetizers were very good (I had the Brussel sprouts and my dining companion had the squid which were both quite nice. Mains were another story. I had the ‘risotto’ which was not actually risotto but something else entirely. The squash was burnt and inedible to the point where I had to send it back. My dining partner got the steak option which he said was tasty but very small and the sides was basically 3 small carrots and crème fresh or something. I replaced my risotto with the charcuterie board which we shared and it was quite nice as was the banana dessert I had. Overall, it was a mixed bag. The biggest complaint was the poor, rushed, unfriendly service. It was so bad we almost left after ordering our drinks but before our food. Given the very ho hum food quality, maybe we should have. 😞
