No hostess, was asked to sit at a dirty table. Bartenders helped out and we sat at a high top in the bar area. Online menu is out of date...the only saving grace was the bartender.
Food ok. Service was terrible. Won’t go back
Outstanding food and service!!
They had all the Safety treatments in placed.
On time for sitting down. Owner always asked us about the meals. JOHNS the Man.
Will go back VERY SOON
.
The restaurant was very crowded so we expected normal than usual slow service. What we did not expect was 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our dinner. The waitress was very inattentive but when I stood up and spoke with the manager we finally got our food which was quite good.
However due to the poor service we will not return to Olios.
The food and drink were delicious. My ahi tuna portion was overly generous. The mussel first course was prepared perfectly in a perfect broth.
Seated at 8, main entrees did not come out until 10:00
Great ambience. Service was quite slow. I also noticed an empty table being bussed adjacent to us while we clearly had a table full of dirty plates ready to be removed. Sea bass was out of this world delicious. Salad and shrimp were very fresh tasting. Scallops were average at best. The carrot cake was average at best. I expected more from a restaurant who charges these kinds of prices.
Delicious food! Great service!
Very loud, tables too close
Well, gave this place a second chance. Big mistake! One hour and 30 minutes to get appetizers spoke to the manager about it and he said he would fix it (whatever that means) but he was busy. By the way, it was Wednesday night and the restaurant was more than half empty. Stay away, the service here is beyond poor. Not worth it!!!
The food was very good Layla our server was outstanding. But for Wednesday night they got slammed and did not have enough service staff. But despite that everything was very good
Server was awesome and food was delicious.
Food was delicious, atmosphere nice, service great.
Flatbread was served burnt...did not send it back but mentioned it to the server
Great food, great atmosphere and service!
Food was unacceptable
Had Layla for our waitress and she made it very special! It was crowded but she managed to give great service!
Service was outstanding and entrees chosen were also delicious!
FOOD AND SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD. SAT OUTSIDE WHICH WAS NICE BUT IT WAS SATURDAY EVE BEFORE VALENTINES SO THE STREET WAS VERY BUSY WITH CARS , THEREFORE ALITTLE NOISEY. AT SOME OTHER TIME, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ALITTLE QUIETER. I WOULD GO AGAIN. FILET AND SCALLOPS WERE COOKED PERFECTLY.
GOOD FOOD!
WAITED 2 AND A HALF HOURS FOR BAD FOOD . NO ORGANIZATION AT ALL.... AVOID
Our server Roare was attentive and provided excellent service. Olio is a hidden gem in Delray that has gotten more popular since our first visit some time ago.
Service we unbelievably slow. We waited for 20 mins just to get our drinks. Then the food took forever to come out as well. Everything looked like it had been sitting. Food was awful. Calamari was actually fishy. Ravioli was literally dowsed in tomato sauce out of the can. Such a shame bc it’s a cute ambiance. Puzzling how they got all these good reviews. They must pay for them. Go elsewhere.
Excellent as always
Love 💕 Jon fantastic bartender
Keep up the good work

Food, Service, Social Distancing; All 5-Star!
We keep returning!! Always a delicious meal there & Rory makes amazing cocktails. . Made a reservation just because but really no need.
Poor wait service, very inattentive, slow food service, when it finally arrived it was cold, poor quality, manager could care less. Never go there again.
This was one of the very best dinners we have ever had, in every way. We sat on the outdoor porch which was great and socially distanced; our waitress was wonderful with great suggestions, I had a perfect Old Fashioned and wine and my husband had beer and all the drinks were great. The dumpling appetizer is amazing; I had blackened 12 spice mahi mahi (delicious) and my husband had the veal piccata which you could cut with a fork it was so tender. We can't wait to go back. Highly, highly recommend it.
Food was great, ambiance is lovely, and the waitress was very attentive.
Very pleasant. Very good waitress!
Horrible Service!!!! Food is decent but the service at Olio is pathetic, and not just the waitress. Let me start by saying that when I was in college I was a writer in an upscale restaurant, so I can appreciate what serving staff go through. I'll start with the host. We arrived right on time for our 7:30 reservation, and waited at the host station for a few minutes, host was not there. A few waiters went by but did not say a word. Eventually a gentleman said "can I help you" as he walked by. Not "hello, welcome to Olio, etc". He seemed bother by us being there. I gave him my name and he walked away. When he came back a few minutes later, I mentioned that we wanted a table outside, his response was "I know, I have your name" and walked away. When we were seated and the waitress came to our table and asked for our drink order, my wife and guests were still deciding what they wanted, and I said I knew what I wanted, but the waitress responded by saying that she would come back when everyone was ready and left. When we were ordering dinner, one of my guests started to ask if the chef could... but the waitress didn't wait for the question and responded by saying "not tonight, we have 150 reservations" and cut him off. Toward the end of our meal, one of the staff approached the table while carrying dirty dishes from another table to ask if we were finished, one of us said yes, so he put the dirty dishes (with a napkin from the other table over our dishes on the table to carry them all away; I was still eating when that occurred. A minute later he came back to clear the rest of the table while I was still eating. It felt like they were pushing us out, even though we were only there for an hour and there were plenty of empty (dirty) tables around. Bottom line the service at Olio is extremely poor at all levels. Never going back.
took 20 minutes to get our apps then meal came quick. Waiter was busy so disappeared . Asked for a cappuccino after dinner and 20 mins later still did not come and was told bartender was busy. He brought check wanting to get rid of us. Food was decent but don't go on a weekend or you will get no service and wait long. Must be a problem with kitchen for everything to take long amounts of time . Our friends arrived half hr before us and they got their app when we were seated which is ridiculous.
The experience overall was average. The place was packed inside and out. We did not feel the quality of the food, drinks, service and experience met the cost.
Food was great but very slow to come out of the kitchen
The food was amazing and the wine selection is outstanding. The service was definitely not what it usually is when we have been there in the past. The waitress was definitely busy and trying to manage a lot. We felt rushed to make our choices. She seemed bothered and overwhelmed.
We had a lovely dinner (outside) in 60 degree very windy weather. Service was good, the heaters worked!!
Great service despite the place being very busy and short handed. Food was EXCELLENT! Giuseppe took good care of us.
Great food, great service, Covid safe outdoor dining. Perfect for a beautiful Florida evening.
We have driven by this place countless times and thought it would be a wonderful night for my birthday dinner. Sat outside- wasn't busy and ordered our drinks. Waited longer than it should of been and only one came out. Waited for the other one to show.. NO Show- had to ask again for it and when my husband tried it - he said "that is not an old fashion". Appetizer was Caprese which was an old tomato- soft and squishy and the bread was so hard and impossible to chew. Food was meh- service was extremely slow and we had to raise our hand to catch her anytime we needed anything. Very Disappointed in that place. The other reviews of this place is spot on but it doesn't seem to have changed much so hey... do your research before you come and if you roll the dice- then good luck to ya.
Great food and drinks! Lovely outdoor patio. They were out of some drink orders but provided back up recommendations.
