   Another wonderful night of delicious food and great friendly service. We absolutely enjoyed another Wonderful Birthday celebration. The tasting menu was delightful. Each course was delicious, with a variety of flavors and beautiful presentation. My favorite restaurant in New Haven. A real gem.

   The food was amazing! Interesting flavors, well balanced and totally delicious. Our cocktails were equally as good! We will definitely be back!

   Celebrating our 18th anniversary: Door swung open by staff and quickly Greeted w a smile and ushered over to our window table (nice touch). Ordered the red Sangria; it didn’t disappoint. Flavorful and filled high. Nice touch. Waiter was w impeccable service and timing. It was like Olea had a perfect script for us. Had the salad and tried an appetizer with some wonderfully delicious seafood. It came with a ?lime froth on top. Wow! Octopus, scallops, etc. Next, we enjoyed the special of the day (market price) Black Sea bass in a green sauce. Not as tasty as expected, but presentation and food prepared to perfection. The market price was same as normal entree prices. Omg. $33-35. My Cornish Hen was very tasty and tender. The potato with tomatoes and mushrooms atop was delightful. Often, hen like this is overcooked, but, again, tender and juicy. We were unable to participate in dessert- Sangria was hitting a bit and preferred to walk for a while. Next time, we will enjoy the dessert selections as the table next to us appeared thrilled w the options that were brought to their table to choose. What a magical experience! Muchas gracias. The door opened by the staff, and my wife and I exited. Enjoy.

   We had the best service here of any restaurant I've been to in years! We arrived with 3 bouquets of flowers we were bringing to a performance after dinner. The staff all jumped to find locations for all of them, wanted to make sure they were all in water, and just generally wanted the best possible experience for us! Our food was absolutely delicious as well.

   The service was impeccable and the deserts were out of this world (according to my wife who was a pastry chef at Chanterelle)

   Food was delicious, cool spot. Meal took two and half hours but that is part of the experience at Olea.

   A wonderful evening! We experienced excellent service in a warm and welcoming environment. The food was authentic Spanish cuisine prepared by talented chefs accompanied by delicious cocktails and wine. Highly recommend!

   Forgot that it was NHvn Rest. Wk, but snagged a bar seat (hightop!) with a resy made the same day. MAKE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE, even on non Rest Wk times, as this place fills up. Friendly and efficient service, with quite a nice variety in their menu. Opted for items from the Rest. Wk menu, as they likely were smaller portions which we desired. The duck confit appetizer was fantastic! The fluke was prepared nicely, tasted great, and not lemony whatsoever unlike what the server indicated. My husband's pork cheeks were tasty and tender, but oddly in an overly rich sauce that tasted almost beef-like. Will definitely return and likely it won't be as lively as during restaurant week.
