   We had heard how great the restaurant was so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is older but well maintained -- expecting an older crowd it did not disappoint -- the appetizers were good to very good (beet salad and shrimp) --my wife had the shrimp starter as a main and i had the lamb shank(truthfully, the lamb had little to no flavour even with the sauce) The cheesecake desert was good and the service was attentive and not overbearing. The evening was very enjoyable and relaxing -- just a bit disappointing!!!

   Leisurely, intimate dining with old school charm with table side experiences like Caesar Salad, fancy coffees and desserts prepared table side and flambé! A wonderful dining experience with superb service!

   A lovely restaurant where we so enjoyed a quiet dinner on our anniversary. The service was great and the food well prepared (we especially loved the ice cream prepared table side!) We will definitely return

   This is the place. Look no further. The ambience is cozy and unpretentious. I bring my well behaved children here for special occasions, about twice a year and it’s our favourite place. The food is always delicious, everything on the menu is good. If you’ve never had duck, this is the place to eat it. The duck is crispy, juicy and flavourful, never greasy. Try it for sure. They change up the menu just enough to keep it interesting, and maintain the staples we love: 3 items prepared table side…. Chateaubriand Caesar salad Nitro ice cream (if it’s being offered) Cherries Jubilee… On noise levels: Earlier in the evening is quieter and as the night progresses noise levels are still moderate. Sometimes lively if there’s a celebration, but the restaurant has quiet corners and knows how to arrange seatings accordingly if you prefer intimate and quieter. The wine list is a good selection, by the glass, full bottle and small/half bottles as well. The cocktail selection is fun and yummy, the staff are well trained so service is well executed. Definitely a great place for a special occasion, but the food is so good, any night is a good night to dine here.
