We were seated almost immediately upon arrival and greeted warmly by everyone from the Valet staff, to the hostess, and our server, Austin - who, by the way, is incredibly knowledgeable and absolutely first-class in all areas. Love the personalized 'business' card included in our check...nice touch! He was amazing, the food was divine and everything was absolutely top notch. No wonder this place has succeeded for so long!! Thank you for such a great experience!!

We made a return visit after a memorable dinner while on vacation in the area last year. This wonderful steakhouse did not disappoint! Steaks were done to perfection and the lobster tail was the best I’ve ever had. Impeccable service and recommendations by our server, David. I highly recommend if you want an exceptional dining experience.

Best steak ever. Service was impeccable! I spilled something on my shirt without realizing it. The waiter noticed and without my asking brought shout to the table to get the stain out. Now that is service!

One of the better steakhouses in the Country with tender meats of the highest cuts and some of the best deserts to be found. Don't passs on the bread pudding and peanut butter pie - absolute musts. This is not cheap but well worth the experience

This was only my second visit to the Okeechobee Steakhouse. My previous visit was last December for my wife's birthday. It has gone so far downhill from my initial visit. My 14 oz NY Strip steak was very fatty and was undercooked. I ordered it medium well which should have been warm and pink according to the menu but when I received my steak, it was medium rare at best. My wife ordered the 8 oz NY Strip and also ordered it medium well. I swear that her steak was moving still on the plate because it was rare at best. I would think that if you are a running a steakhouse, being able to cook a steak would be what you know how to do but I guess not! I will not be returning here anytime soon. When you charge $51.99 for a 14 oz NY Strip, you should really know how to cook it.

I went to Okeechobee Steakhouse because I got a free steak for my birthday valued at $34. When I walked in the atmosphere was nice. We got our table and ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer. Appetizers were delicious. Then they brought out the raw steaks to choose from. They looked beautiful ranging from $34 to $70. I went with the $34 steak. I make better steaks at home. Steak had a lot of gristle and not very tender. Maybe if I ordered the $70 steak it may have been better but I would never or a steak that costs $70.

We had an amazing experience thanks to Kevin D. The appetizers were perfect crab cake and escargot. The steaks were perfectly cooked and we insane quality. Desserts were also great as well coconut cream pie and peanut butter pie.

While this is priced like a fine dining restaurant, the experience is not. Food is good but wasn’t the nice experience we were hoping for. Server seemed bothered by us. Waiters were yelling at one another. I’m not sure we would be back.

Friends had been raving about this place for years, so we decided to try it. We assumed that it would be great steaks at a reasonable price compared to other high end steak restaurants... this restaurant is basically a cramped, slightly dressed up diner with no ambience. The prices were shockingly exorbitant... much more expensive than either Capital Grill or III Forks. What put me “over the edge” was that they have the nerve to charge $10 for sharing!!! Are you kidding!!?? They charge $60+++ for single serve steaks and then they want to slap another $10! If we didn’t have a guest with us, we would have left. Even though the steaks were quite good (not extraordinary), there is absolutely no comparison to the dining experience and quality of steak we have at either III Forks or Capital Grille. The service was fine but very frenetic and we felt rushed. Personally, we will not return as we felt it was a rip-off, but they apparently have a loyal following, although I can’t for the life of me figure out why! Our bill for three people including 2 very tiny and overpriced martinis was just under $300 (before tip). Insane.

The staff at the Okeechobee Steakhouse was amazing - from the hostess (Brooke) to our waiter (Cory) tp every staff member we encountered! Unfortunately, the night we visited, there was a huge party seated all the way up the middle of our section of the restaurant resulting in way too much noise! It’s too bad that they don’t have a separate room for such large parties. The food was good but we both ordered the porterhouse steak and it was OK but we’ve had better steaks here (and other places). For the price of the steak, it should have been more tender (the strip section) and more flavorful. We will definitely go back but won’t order the porterhouse steak.
