Lovely restaurant in very central location, very good food without extortionate price tags. However, it has very small tables with very limited space for dishes to be served. Service is ok but could be improved on.

I'm not sure how Obika is still in business. The food is so sub par. I went to one in Los Angeles (Century City Mall) many many years ago and it was underwhelming then. It has since been closed. I now live in London and saw they have one here and thought, "I will give it another try, maybe it was just an off night". Nope, the food is pretty bland. The place was empty on a Friday night, which should have been my first red flag. It's such a great idea, but it lacks in food taste. I won't be back and I would recommend you pick somewhere else.

Terrible service where we struggled to gain the attention of the staff throughout the meal. The meal itself was fine but when it came to paying the bill we were given another table’s bill. We explained and they said that they would sort it. However, they still couldn’t get the bill right. After some back and forth they asked us to pay the bill they gave us even though it wasn’t what we had ordered on the footing that our bill would have been higher. I gave up and paid as I was already late for a meeting. Not a hint of an apology or reduction in service charge. I go to Obica a lot and so it was extremely disappointing. I will think about whether to return.

We came as a group of 4. The music when we got there was extremely loud, in spite of us sitting outside. The manager was amazing and clearly cared about our experience, however our main server was not particularly attentive or helpful. The mozzarella was the reason we went and it was phenomenal! Everything else was rather average. We got the tortellini and two pizzas (the tuna and a margherita) and both were not worth it. The tortellini was quite small and the pizza dough was great but the toppings were pretty soft and mediocre. Overall I’d recommend coming for appetizers and drinks!
