Nuvolari’s is a warm and inviting Italian restaurant, nestled on the Northshore of New Orleans in Old Mandeville. For over 40 years, loyal customers have enjoyed Italian food, friendship and celebrations around our tables. Nuvolari’s menu features traditional Italian fare alongside creative fresh dishes. Dining options include intimate indoor seating with a relaxed exterior patio. We offer Happy Hour in the bar and patio Thursday from 4:00-6:00. We also serve Lunch on Friday from 11:00-2:00. Our wine list is appreciated by both connoisseurs and newcomers, with a diverse selection by the glass and bottle.

We always enjoy Nuvalori’s. The redfish was outstanding. A glass of wine is a little pricey but worth it for the ambiance. I wish they had more Italian style pastas and sauces.

Perfect restaurant for date night with my husband. I enjoyed the trio option of tuna appetizer, shrimp with fava entree and tiramisu dessert. My husband had Caesar salad with the pork chop tomahawk. Fantastic presentation and Excellent dining experience!

Thursday, Nuvolari’s has Happy Hour from 4 to 6 PM, so restaurant was noisy when we arrived for our 5:30 reservation. Food and wine were outstanding. Our waiter may have been new and was not attuned to pacing courses or clearing the table. Did a good job overall. Ambiance always good. Will comment on the wine list…..outstanding, with numerous choices, fair pricing, and different price points. Something for everyone. A+++.

The eggplant appetizer with shrimp and sherry cream was excellent. The pasta dish and pompano were outstanding as well! One of my favorite restaurants!

Celebrated my mother's birthday with a table of 8 and everything was perfect. Appetizers, salads, entrees, wine and cocktails were all amazing. Always recommend Nuvo's for any special occasion, date night or just to sit at the bar with a friend!

Always a great time here. Really good elite level chef cooked plates that are moderately priced for fulfilling portions. Drinks take a while so be patient but they’re worth it. Desserts are always on point.
